The food was great and portions were plentiful. However, it was a bit pricey.

FANTASTIC CHINESE CUISINE! I came here with my mom...visiting from Utica! We've never been to Bamboo Chinese restaurant before in Old Forge, and we'd thought we'd try it! WOW! Excellent food!! I got the sliced chicken in garlic sauce and she got the chicken Lo mein! My mom and I are very picky about Asian cuisine, but we were both very happy with our entrees at Bamboo Chinese food in Old Forge! We definitely recommend this restaurant to anyone who loves authentic Chinese cuisine!! The portions were big, and the prices were very reasonable! Excellent dining experience!!

The food was carelessly cooked and hardly edible. We had noodle and rice dishes. The mixed vegetables ordered were 95% onions. A corresponding complaint was noted but ignored.
No wonder, because you had to pay in advance.
Ambiance: Not available. The Google photo shows the guest room with five tables. Nice. Not nice: The photographer was obviously standing on the huge trash can in the room where you were allowed to throw your plastic dishes. Next to it is a poster (no joke): First aid tips on what to do if you choke and are choking.
Conclusion: Thank you, you will never see us again!

Honestly I love this place. Everyone there is so friendly, and the food is always good and made fast. My cousins and I would get food here after school in early fall/late spring and it was the best part of my day. (Side note: if you get moo shu you may want to double order the pancakes because they’re quite thin and you may want to double up, and if you order the general tso’s chicken it comes as dark meat but if you want white meat just specify white meat)

Absolutely the worst food & dining experience of a lifetime. After only 2 bites of food, me and my wife abandoned our entire meals on the table and left. There are no words to describe how bad this food was, but I can honestly say that it wasn’t chicken!I know the food industry is challenging and we are not ones to complain about mediocre food or poor service but this food wasn’t fit for a dog.Beware! Yikes!
Good food, close to our hotel. Reasonable price

All restaurants packed so did takeout fried Dumplings General chi’s chicken and fried rice lots of food
Food was awful and expensive. Chicken and broccoli dishes were cold when they came from the kitchen- which we were asked to get ourselves. Broccoli was very tough. Spring rolls were hard and greasy. The inside itself was cold and we froze while choking down the worst meal we’ve ever gotten while visiting old forge.
Not very happy with what I ordered although my husband was. Adequate table and seating, although not very inviting atmosphere.
