We like Daikers, we really do although we stopped in on a Thursday night to grab a drink and something to eat. This has no reflection on Daikers itself but people had their maybe 3 year old at the bar and the kid was screaming and acting ridiculous, running around the entire place out of control and he and his family was seated AT THE BAR. Come on people. We like to go to a bar and have a drink, eat and relax, not listen to what is like a daycare at the other end of the bar. I’m sure the people in the dining area were as unimpressed as we were. We’ll come back and hopefully children will be left at home with a babysitter. Bartender was attentive and great, food was good.

Stopped in Monday afternoon to a busy lunch for one server and one bartender but the server worked the floor like a pro. She was seating, taking orders and bussing with efficiency. The food was served promptly and was very good. I’m a chef by trade and usually a busy short staffed restaurant is a trigger for me. It was nice to see that this place was handling everything so smoothly

Popped in on the snowmobile. Atmosphere was very good. Service was just okay and the buffalo chicken wrap was just okay. I've had other food on the menu which was good. I will be back.

Awesome stop! Dog friendly and lots of people taking advantage of this by bringing their pups inside from the cold. Big piano, lots of games and stuff to do for kids, while football games and busy bar for the adults in the bar room. Had an awesome fire going for some good atmosphere that you are greeted with upon walking in the door. Heavily littered with snowmobile paraphernalia everywhere as this is a perfect location to duck off the trails to break up your day on the trails. Tons of parking, and the menu won’t disappoint. I had the pierogis and hog wings. I couldn’t decide which sauce to toss these in so the bartender offered to bring a side of them all to try any of them we would like. Above and beyond, and you can’t get that many places it seems like, anymore. Outside has a large wrap around deck that leads you to the discovery of the place actually being lakeside. In fact, upon checking this place out prior to the long drive out to visit I found a live webcam to see what kind of conditions are currently happening outside the deck overlooking the lake. This is available from their google listing website link after navigating through their website. Pretty neat! All said and done, I would recommend the garlic sauce on the pierogis dipped in sour cream and dipping the hog wings in the spicy mustard. Super yummy! Great place to take kids in Old Forge NY! Lots of games and great food and drinks.
Upon entrance the hostess was extremely unprofessional, no people skills at all. Same for the waitress. Once we arrived, other guests were seated and served before us. Honestly felt like it was a race issue. I will say the ranch dressing was soooo good. Other than that it was a waste of time and money. Will not be back or recommend.

I was there on a 80 degree beautiful Wednesday in early October. Everyone was either hiking or boating in the morning and ended up at Daiker’s for a late lunch. Had to sit at the bar due to the long wait for a table. The bartender was very considerate to try and get the orders of everyone around his end of the bar. Our food took a bit to come out but was really good when it arrived. Short staffed as most places but still did their best with good service, food and a decent view!
