Love the Beers and the Atmosphere

I have came to this place religiously since they’ve opened and have spoken highly of it since. I go out of my way to come here in fact. I haven’t been here in a while since I have lived out of state. I sat for about 10-15 minutes before I was greeted and watched all of the locals get taken care of and chatted up. I ordered a flight and once I finished it, the board was just taken from me. I was not asked if I wanted to try one of the beers I drank or if I needed anything else today. I then sat for another 15 minutes until I had to excuse the bartender for a beer who seemed annoyed by my request. Not a pleasant experience, more than likely won’t be back.

Great visiting with the owners Rich and Justin. We stopped on a rainy day so it was very busy but people pitched in to help. Nice to see a thriving business in Old Forge. WP visitors

Flavors of beer produced here are unique, but undesirable. Service is good, but prices are ridiculous. Don’t recommend stopping here unless you want to empty your wallet on average food and well below average beer. ….After reading some other reviews, I was reminded of our cold greasy fries and the stench from the bathroom. Many other better places in town.

The host was great, but the beers lacked the bold ,rich body that you usually get from craft breweries. The pilsner was supposed to be "crisp and refreshing ", but then so is a glass of water when you're thirsty. The Session ale was not in session, again, it lacked the full bodied flavor that Sessions are known for. The food was...ok. overall, we were disappointed with the beers.

The beer is ... not good. Had the IPA and the saison, and both lacked much of any flavor and were pretty flat. Then there's the food. Charging $1 per burger topping is a crime (so fun explaining to my son that he had to drop the pickles because I wasn't paying for a $17 burger), and to add to that you must pay extra for your sides. Chicken tenders were the cheap pureed and then reconstituted 'chicken' that you get with fast food. Fries were soggy and unsalted. Go to the pizza and clams joint. It's sooo much better.

Been coming here every year since they opened, and something has definitely changed this year. Food was excessively greasy (guessing our fries were cooked in cold fryer oil), but additionally the tap lines tasted well past their due date to be cleaned. The beers we tried were tinged with the sour metallic taste of dirty lines and the oatmeal stout was the most sour of all. It seems the establishment has forgotten how to clean anything since every surface has a grimy stickiness to it and the bathroom has "the" odor. The couch needs to go. Overall we were very disappointed because we always used to look forward to an afternoon here. We're guessing we aren't alone in these assessments because both visits this month there were barely any customers, at least compared to how it used to be hopping and difficult to get a seat. Now not so much. We're hopeful they will correct these issues and restore the experience and tastes they once offered.

Service was excellent. The beer was tasty. Food was excellently prepared. Pretzels and dipping sauce were excellent. Chicken and burgers were seasoned well and tasted awesome. Additional toppings itemized priced each a dollar additional. With that our bill was a bit expensive over $100.
