I took twin 5 year old boys, a six year old girl and a 14 year old girl to Old Forge and we decided to eat at the Pied Piper. It was hella busy that last Sunday of August and the lines were long to order food. It took a long time to order, but the food was ready quicker than I expected. The tater tots were crispy and delicious. The hot dogs were very good, the cheeseburgers and the cheese fries were great. It was a bit pricey, but everything was so good that it was worth every dime to have a bunch of picky kids all end up happy with their meals and ready to watch the fireworks over Old Forge Pond.

Friendly staff, prices can't be beat and my burger was delicious. They do take cards now, I know from previous reviews that they used to be cash only, but that is no longer the case. I will be back!

Stopped for ice cream with the family, it was delicious and they have burgers, hotdogs, fries etc. Next time I’m in the area we’ll definitely be stopping there!

Great food and lovely people. It’s been in business over 70 years it’s no surprise. They have great food for great prices, a beautiful view at their seating area, and they really capture the summer in the Adirondack vibe. They also have a cute souvenir shop attached. Definitely a must after a long day at water safari. Please be sure to request adding a tip when you pay by card!!! They’re extremely appreciative and absolutely deserve it. ❤️
Meh... Chocolate flavored ice cream had very little chocolate flavor to it. The cherry hardening topping was like soup and didn't look the color of Cherry.
