Stopped for lunch on our way upstate, and I got the buffalo chicken sandwich + sweet potato waffle fries. Best chicken sandwich I've had in a long time - the pretzel bun was soft, the fried chicken was crispy and juicy, and there was a good amount of the buffalo + grogonzola without the sandwich being drenched, like you get some places. Wasn't sure if I'd like the maple + sage sauce that comes with the waffle fries, but it works. Great little café!
The customer service is spot on. They are very welcoming. The atmosphere takes you back in time with historical pictures on the wall. The chef/owner is an excellent cook. His specials are of his own creation. Very tasty. The homemade creamy tomato basil soup is full of flavors. Definitely will order there again.
The food is excellent, the presentation lovely, the atmosphere perfect, the service well done!!! I often enjoy the club or a salad with whatever incredible soup the chef has made. Any time I have been there, I leave feeling satisfied and relaxed. Finally, a little gem of a nook to escape the boxed version of reality you seem to get everywhere else but here. Napoleon's is an absolute must enjoy little bistro!
