I meet Nicki the owner on leap year day. I stopped by to see the motel units. Nicki was very nice and gave me a tour of her newly remodeled restaurant, Lakeside.Wow! A very impressed dining place. And, a place with the new look, must have a real cook. Lol!So, I'm going to stop in and check out the menu and do a updated review of my meal,service, and menu.Best wishes to Nicki and staff on your opening. One last note, I noticed that the best State Troopers in the USA - NY, were checking out the menu too. TY men and women who service NYS finest.

Niki (the owner) and her friendly staff create an environment that makes you want to return to each day to start your day out right. Her food is OUTSTATNDING and the atmosphere at Lakeside Diner is so inviting it is hard to go anywhere else. You want to return for the amazing friendships you will form and the food is just an added bonus. You owe it to yourself to try this amazing small town experience, you will be reminded of how nice things used to be and still can be at Lakeside Diner! Very well done!!!
The boxes of sweetener were sitting on the floor.The floor was filthy....The place was filthy!The waitress wasn't attentive and a lady with a walker with a group of coffee drinkers just helped her self to the coffee pot.We were seated in the back part of the restaurant and there were flies buzzing around also.I would say the health department should make a visit to this place. It's wasn't that busy and we had to go to the cash register and ask for our bill to pay so we could leave.I definitely wouldn't recommend this place

Convenient access and parking, very, very good food and reasonable prices. The staff are attentive and very friendly. A very personable and family atmosphere where people that you may not know talk to you, a very community environment. Even on busy days the service is quick. I've been to them all, this is the best in Ontario, Union Hill, or east Webster.
