Really wanted to love this place. Interesting combinations, sexy atmosphere… the food just was not great. It wasn’t even busy. Lobster was overcooked, chips clearly came out of bag and were also just the bottom of the barrel. I really wanted to love this place.

Went here tonight and sat at the bar, I was solo. The bartender served me my soda and proceeded to the other guest taking their drinks and food order, never coming back to take my order. The people next to me at the bar received their food and drinks as I sat there feeling completely invisible to the bartender. She finally came back after 30 minutes and said do you want to order anything, I said I did but I now just want to leave. My husband and I are normally regulars in the dining room, live in Fairport and have never been treated like such an out cast. I will never go back, the food has x always been just okay, there are much better places in Fairport with better food and service. Lost another customer, the word is out!

Good luck choosing just one of their delicious tacos; take my advice and get the flight! Unique flavor combinations are what make this place so special. The relaxed atmosphere and great music further enhance the experience, making Rustic Taco an excellent choice for a night out on the town.
Food is mouth wateringly delicious! Sober Shrimp Taco's are our favorites but seriously have loved any of the tacos we've had! The vibe of the restaurant is very cool, casual and comfortable. Full bar and nice wine list. Service was flawless. Highly recommend.

Nothing beats Rustic Taco! OG taco eater from their food truck and Ontario Lake Rd location. Took my manager to the new location in Fairport for lunch yesterday. Yum!

The cheese burger taco Is the Best Taco around! Before they opened as a restaurant I found them at canal days when they were a food truck. I litterally ran through the pouring rain down main street of Fairport to enjoy their tacos in my car 🤣 it was worth it!
I loved the mango chicken taco, and the mocktails are great too! The decor is definitely a little cheesy, but it’s still cute and I can appreciate the effort and the cleanliness!! The staff was so friendly and the food was great.

Some of the tacos are good, some are way too strong or way too weak in flavor. But besides the food, I watched the wait staff complain about an older couple who sat down about an hour before close. Because they would have to clean up again and they were irritated. As a customer I should never experience that or see anything but stellar customer service at all times.

Cool place with a laid back but stylish vibe. Great decor and jazz and blues soundtrack as good as the food. This is the first "taco"place I've actually liked. Can see coming here for cocktails. We were two dining. Tacos are on the high side price wise but generous in size and great quality ingredients! No I'm not the owner! Ha ha. I just feel in today's environment there are a lot of disappointments when it comes to dining. These guys got it right. The King of Woo.😎
