Food is so delicious! We tried ox tail, goat, chicken and shrimp. Spicy sauce/salad to with the fried plantains… All DELICIOUS! Very flavorful. The waiter explains how the dishes are cooked with, and he’s clearly not just serving us food but introducing his culture and food to us. Great experience! We will come back!

What a modest little gem in Orangeburg for great Caribbean food.. We had fresh salad, three different types of rice, black beans, local dressings, plantains (real thing), conch and shrimp curry, pork and a surprise passion fruit smoothie.. and this was lunch !!!! This is real local Haitian/Caribbean food .. Chef came out and discussed all different options.. try the watermelon water very refreshing... very modest restaurant and price id perfect... we will be going back.. go out and try something new...Vegetarian options: very large menu with various vegetarian optionsKid-friendliness: Family oriented... plenty of tables..Parking: tons of parkingWheelchair accessibility: yes..
Tasty Haitian and Carribean food served hot and fresh. I enjoy the fried fish, oxtails and black rice. Check it out if you’re in the area.

Food here is absolutely delicious. Homestyle meals cooked with a great deal of care and vim. Everything on the menu is excellent. Here is my best shot at a little "beginners guide". Hadn't tried Haitian food before I ate here and now it's one of my favorites.LaloGreens similar in taste to collard greens. The chef gets these brought in special from overseas. Seasoned and cooked down with meat to a texture that's like cooked spinach. I enjoy this dish's unique flavor. Not a bitter flavor but just something different. Hearty and flavorful with the shredded meat.LegumesVegetarian option with eggplant, carrot, cabbage, special squash. Cooked and seasoned to a thick stew texture. I'm told it takes hours to get this dish right and it's delicious. I love eggplant, this is one of the best preparations I've ever tasted.Fried Chicken or Fried GoatThis isn't deep fried but just has that crisp outside with seasoning. So not too heavy. Really moist throughout, flavor to the bone. Great thing to try if you're wondering where to start.Bannann PezeFried green plantains. Basically tostones. Great snack, always made fresh. These come with every main dish. Served with pikliz.PiklizVinegary onion salad. Spicy with scotch bonnet peppers. Eat this on its own or add it to something. Good compliment to the fried dishes especially.Rice and Beans or Black RiceThe rice is delicious. Seasoned rice, perfect fluffy texture with peas or lentils. Black rice has a little bit more flavor, flavored with mushrooms. Comes with your meal.Vegetarian options: Legumes, Bannann Pezze, Rice and Beans, White Rice with Black Beans - all delicious.
Wow… I live in Philadelphia and I’m upset that I can’t enjoy this delicious food more often.. so much flavor. Highly recommend!
