The food was of good quality, but we felt it was slightly overpriced considering the presentation. We had watermelon salad - not finely prepared, chunky; wagyu sushi - just okay; and filet mignon - a nice cut, well-cooked, but lacking sides. The bar was inconsistent with a simple martini. The atmosphere is pleasant; go for the views. All in all, we celebrated a birthday and had a nice evening.

Victor was our server and he was amazing! I accidentally ordered a dish that had sausage in it (I didn't realize there was a different name for it on the menu for the Spicy Rigatoni) I don't eat sausage. He and the manager were very nice and accommodating about it, they asked me what else I would like and it came out ASAP!!! They could've gone in a different direction about it since I was the one that was mistaken, but they handled it with grace and kindness. Wonderful meal and service!

Second time here, but this time was not a great experience. The crab cakes were basically like hockey pucks; obviously had been frozen and tasted fishy. The Parmesan truffle fries came out room temperature and the Parmesan was literally from a Kraft container just jumped on top (not tossed and mixed in with the fries). Our server Jose was professional and attentive, and the quality of food was not his fault. Beautiful view of the Hudson River. But I don't think we'll be back.

We've been there a number of times but this one was very disappointing The shrimp and scallop risotto was flavorless and the lobster pappardelle was very small for an entree and the price tag We did receive a couple of free desserts which were appreciated when asked about our meal but still left disappointed

It’s been very long since I have been back to 3 westerly. The interior has a cool vibe with booths, tables and lots of seating at the bar, the outdoor area has great views of the water and the signature arch.
The main reason why I returned was because of the views and outdoor atmosphere. We ordered the calamari, hot lobster rolls and margaritas and I was unfortunately not wowed by anything. The lobster roll had lots of good sized pieces of lobster and the bread was very good but could have been warmer for a “hot” lobster roll. I definitely want to return and try more things on the menu.

So often restaurants with great views don't have quality food to match. 3 westerly has come a long way since its earlier days in my opinion. The food has been consistently high quality, a wide variety to please all kinds of diners and generous portions. The wait staff is almost always very friendly and very attentive. I go through buckets of water when I dine out and my glass is never empty. I'd say this place is a gem and I'm saying that as someone who didn't like it so much in the past.
