Place was closed at 4pm although google said it closes at 7pm. We came especially :(
A charming ice cream café by the Hudson River. The strawberry lemonade sorbet was delicious and refreshing. Unfortunately, the outdoor tables lacked umbrellas, making it hard to enjoy the treat under the hot sun.

Penny Lick Ice Cream has taken over the stand previously run by Barefoot Creamery, and it has turned out to be a delightful upgrade. Located perfectly by the water, it’s an ideal spot to cool down on a hot summer day in the park.
They pride themselves on using all-natural, fresh ingredients, which does mean they often run out quickly as they don’t keep a large surplus of products in the back.
During my visit, I tried the Blueberry Jam and White Chocolate Cherry flavors. The Blueberry Jam was very subtle, and I could barely taste the blueberry in it. However, the White Chocolate Cherry was exceptionally sweet and savory, making it a delightful treat.
Overall, Penny Lick Ice Cream is a great addition to the area and definitely worth a visit for their fresh, high-quality offerings.

Amazing place. Great service. Loveeeeeed the ice cream???
It was amazing give Haley and Owen a raise BEST SERVICE EVER!!! AMAZING SERVICE EVER
The place is hidden in the middle of the park.Al least to me, it was a bit hard to find the place. It was like a treasure hunt!!It was totally worth it, the ice cream was so delicious...I got a vanilla cone, and it was not too sweet, the size worth the price. My bf got the mango sorbet, and it also tasted good. I am not sure what their ingredients are, but it tates like real mango!!! I would only guess that it has some extra ingredients due to the color. It was a bright yellow, real mango gives a light one, no?Mango was a bit sweeter than the vanilla, but they kept a good balance.Top of that, the park has a nice view, so you can sit, relax, and eat your ice cream!
Small quaint place with beautiful views of the river
It was fine enough ice cream and the employees were very nice. The location I guess is the attraction. The ice cream was okay.
Attention dairy free ice cream fans— the oat milk ice cream is incredible!!!!

A must for families with kids (and all grown ups too)! AMAZINGLY delicious ice cream and great location with a playground for the kids or a beautiful stroll along the river.
Great ice cream, nice employees, homemade so understandably a little pricey but worth it. Had the pumpkin, not overly sweet or spiced, loved it and so did my dog!
