A charming ice cream café by the Hudson River. The strawberry lemonade sorbet was delicious and refreshing. Unfortunately, the outdoor tables lacked umbrellas, making it hard to enjoy the treat under the hot sun.
Penny Lick Ice Cream has taken over the stand previously run by Barefoot Creamery, and it has turned out to be a delightful upgrade. Located perfectly by the water, it’s an ideal spot to cool down on a hot summer day in the park.
They pride themselves on using all-natural, fresh ingredients, which does mean they often run out quickly as they don’t keep a large surplus of products in the back.

The place is hidden in the middle of the park.Al least to me, it was a bit hard to find the place. It was like a treasure hunt!!It was totally worth it, the ice cream was so delicious...I got a vanilla cone, and it was not too sweet, the size worth the price.My bf got the mango sorbet, and it also tasted good.
