Nice classic diner with the standard large menu and breakfast focused menu. Owner can be slightly sharp tongued.

This diner has always been a go to for me since it opened. Good menu, good execution. It's not a "typical" NY Diner and thats' both great and not. Gone are some of the typical diner standards in favor of a slightly more refined and eclectic menu. My only complaint really is that it is not a 24 hour diner which Westchester seems to desperately lack. I get that there is probably not a demand for that much in the area anymore, but it would be ideal at least for me (and yes, I realize it's not all about me!). My only other issue, and I believe it's temporary, was the last time I was there they were undergoing a pretty major restroom renovation while the diner was open. We were seated right by the entrance and there was a constant stream of people passing us and waiting on the one single use restroom. That didn't make for a pleasant eating experience but I realize (I hope) that it's fixed by now.

I ordered a simple bacon, egg, and cheese with mayo, yet they serve mayo on the side instead of putting it on the toast for me. Also then they charge a dollar for honey for my tea. The food didn’t taste great and the waiter that night was out of it. When I asked for extra honey (because they gave me only two measly packets like ketchup packets) he brought back a cup of hot water instead to add to my used tea bag. Unfortunately, this is the only option For a diner in this area late at night. Hopefully another time they’ll redeem themselves.

I asked for an etra well done burger, and they sent me an almost raw burger. Besides that, when I wanted something else, due to not taking the risk to another disappointment, the manager refused to give me what I wanted. We ended arguing. I thought the customer was always right.
