ordered twice this week. I got dry rotisserie chicken the french fries horrible taste and the rice had a funny smell. Lomo saltado was horrible the rice and the french fries were chewy. Torta Helada was rotten. I used to enjoy going here but the quality and taste had gone downhill. Won’t go there again. Waitresses need to be more friendly

I recently had a very disappointing experience with The Gladys Restaurant in Ossining, New York. We called to order three Lomo Saltado dishes for delivery, totaling $60. After waiting about an hour without receiving our food, we called to check on the status. The restaurant informed us that they had our order listed as pickup, even though we had clearly requested delivery and provided our address.
When we explained this, they said they could deliver the food but that it would take an additional 20-30 minutes. Since the food had already been sitting for an hour, we expressed our concern about paying $60 for what would likely arrive cold and hoped they might remake it or reheat it given the error. Unfortunately, the staff member was unhelpful and dismissive, saying, "Well, someone has to pay for your food, it’s $60."
This rude and unapologetic response was very disheartening, especially as this wasn’t our first negative customer service experience with them, so we decided to cancel the order. The staff then informed us that if we ordered again, we’d need to pay in advance. With the lack of accountability and poor attitude, we’ve decided to give our business to Aji Limon instead. Their customer service and food quality have consistently been much better. It’s a shame because we had high hopes for The Gladys Restaurant, but poor service like this just isn’t worth it.

This place has the worst customer service. I have been placing orders at this place for many years. One day I called and they told me their whole chickens were not ready and will take an hour. I placed the order and called back 2 minutes later to cancel because my kids could not wait that long. Now they have my info noted that I have to pay before I even pick up. I told them I will not pay ahead of time as I will pay cash in person. They refused. So now I take my business to Aji Limon. Which in much better in taste and service. Bad attitude will result in loss of business.

Lomo saltado here is always good as well as the calamari with the salsa criolla that it comes with. Best Peruvian spot hands down when it comes to food. Their green sauce is also amazing and food here never fails.

Worst place ever the staff give so much attitude on the phone. Never gets the order right they curse at their customers.This place needs a better manager or owner to hire more professional people who aren’t nasty . NOW DONT GET ME STARTED ON THE FOOD -0. Don’t ever eat here unless you want to get sick.
Everything is very good, except for something, we always order a sautéed chicken or beef tenderloin but what I don't like is that they don't add much color to the chicken, in the photo it has a lot of color but when they deliver it to us it doesn't have any color ES
