This restaurant is five stars. Absolutely. We are so happy to have Richie‘s kitchen downstairs from Westchester Dance artists! The food is delicious and so healthy. The service is extraordinary. Once I left my glasses there and Richie tracked me down to make sure that I had them. The steak is especially delicious, great guacamole, great everything. . Including cleanliness. This place has atmosphere, warmth, and great community.

As soon as we were seated we were greeted by the charismatic Richie, who not only took our orders but also infused our dining experience with genuine warmth and attentiveness. The Patacon chimichurri sandwich was amazing as well. The plantains were flavorful and had the prefect texture, and the meat was well cooked and amazing. Unfortunately I got food poisoning after eating shrimp mofongo from this restaurant. The food was so good that I was going to write a positive review, but three hours after eating I was sick. So unfortunate as the meal was very good, but I had to share this experience so the restaurant knows it needs to practice better food safety.

All I can say is Wow! Best Dominican food! My family and I celebrated my mother’s 60th birthday at Richies Kitchen and I cannot express how amazing our experience was. From the staff to the food, I can’t say enough good things about this place. The restaurant is very cozy and welcoming. The food was immaculate and delicious. You can truly tell Richie really takes pride in making sure his customers have an incredible experience at his restaurant.The cuban sandwich, ox tails with rice and peas, pernil with rice and peas, mixed appetizer tray and the fried fish all highly recommended. From the moment we walked in the door, we were greeted warmly by Richie and his staff. The delicious aroma and joyful music from the Dominican Republic filled the air. Everything we tried was so flavorful. From the tres golpes and chimichurri with Yuca fries to the Ropa vieja lunch special, all the flavors from home. So happy to have this gem close to home.

We had the Wings, Chicken Mofongo and Pollo Guisado.Everything was so savory and delicious. I enjoyed ever bite. The tres leche dessert was perfect?. Definitely a new family favorite.
