Food was good and the coffee flight was delicious. This place is a big hit on social media so it was on my list to visit. However I do enjoy eating at a place where the staff delivers great service. Although the waitress was not rude, she definitely didn’t seem to care about serving us that day. No recommendations, no checking up on us and forgot to bring us napkins.

Food on par with the owners’ attitude.

It had a nice atmosphere, no wait time but staff was very busy. Every staff member that walked past greeted us except our waiter. I remember asking him for a fork and he forget, when we reminded him he threw it on the table. The mimosa flights were great but all the flavors tasted the same. Pancakes were great but everything else had no flavor. Food was very bland, I kept adding salt and pepper to the whole dish. My plate wasn’t really presentable either. We ended up having our desserts to go.

The food was decent but not great for the price. Our waiter was incredible and was the main bright spot.

Love tasty table. Today I ordered the breakfast pizza. Sorry to say I was disappointed I’m only saying this because the description on the menu did not match the result. Please bring back the original pizza breakfast Thank you

Went for dinner. The appetizers were good but the main dishes we got were all flavorless. I've heard the brunch is pretty good but wouldn't recommend going for dinner.

Update:
- I don't doubt that everything was made from scratch. The polenta bites and the bread and butter were amazing. The drinks were also good. I'm sure it's possible that the other dinner items on the menu other than what my party got are great, I was just disappointed in the lack of flavor in what we ordered. Seems like it was seasoned with primarily salt and pepper and lacked any additional depth of flavor.
- When the server asked how the food was (after we had mostly finished eating) I responded with "eh". No sense in sending the food back even if it wasn't anything special, as we were hungry and it wasn't bad (just not good). Plus, our server was amazing and I didn't want to hurt his feelings or give him any additional work simply because the meal wasn't good. He otherwise made it an enjoyable experience and it wasn't his fault.
- I'm sure it's possible that the other food is good, I've heard good things and your restaurant has good reviews. Maybe it was just a bad day for the kitchen. I would have tried the brunch to give this place a second try but the defensiveness of the responses to any review that isn't 4-5 stars is off putting...

To the Owners,

I know you’ve seen the reviews, and it’s honestly disappointing that you’re still ignoring this issue. Your front manager/hostess is seriously hurting your business. The only reason I can imagine you’ve kept her on is because she must be related to the owners, right?

Here’s the truth: she’s rude. She’s angry, annoyed, and makes it clear she doesn’t want to be there. Every time we ask for a table, it feels like we’re inconveniencing her. I’ve personally watched people walk in, encounter her attitude, and immediately leave.

This isn’t a one-time thing, or even just a seasonal issue. She’s always moody, always unpleasant, and it’s driving customers away. If you care about your business, it’s time to take action.

Some small spaces pack the best surprises. This spot is definitely that! The restaurant is cozy, clean, and decorative! The staff are super friendly and knowledgeable. Everything on the menu looked so good and I thoroughly enjoyed my meal. In addition to the main menu, there is a speciality menu on the board. My only criticism is that my food was not hot when I received it. But the taste definitely made up for that. My potatoes, steak and eggs were well seasoned and cooked perfectly. I will definitely be back!

Came here for Brunch with my family of 5. Our waitress, Valerie H., was immediately cold and had an attitude, even as she was taking our order. She was not attentive and only came to our table once and it was because we called her over. Our order was also incomplete. Besides the huevos rancheros, we did not enjoy the food.

I had a disappointing experience at The Tasty Table in Ossining. The owner was rude and disrespectful, refusing to serve us and speaking to us in a nasty manner. This behavior is unacceptable and left us feeling unwelcome.

My 3 year old daughter was standing outside and she scream to us that someone was going to get hurt and refuse to serve us.

The host was extremely rude, so much so that we had to leave. She does not know how to speak to people and should not be in customer service if she can not handle a stressful brunch shift.

Solid brunch with tasty dishes. The restaurant has a stellar reputation, and I can see why — but it didn’t quite live up to the hype for me. The ambiance is vibrant, if a bit loud, and the hostess seemed a tad frazzled.

One gripe: no brunch reservations. For a place that draws so many out-of-towners and day-trippers, leaving seating up to chance feels like lazy management. There are so many ways to handle this better (hello, cancellation fees!). While it’s worth a visit, the no-reservation policy and a touch too much chaos make it a four-star experience at best.

I’m afraid to be too honest about how much I loved my first visit to The Tasty Table for fear that the more of us who share the less chance I’ll get a table…but…it’s great!! I can hardly wait to return! Sunday brunch is fantastic! Busy and absolutely worth the wait! I had their delicious shakshuka and an early grey tea while my friend had the hamburger and a cappuccino. We both loved it!!! We ate outside which was lovely, but inside is even more lovely! The design is farmhouse chic meets French patisserie…a great combo!!! And…the staff was kind and generous!! I really look forward to going back!!
