No one throws an event like Traveler’s Rest! The space is beautiful and they know how to use it. The staff at the event were fun, helpful, and courteous. The planning was easy and management helped the entire way through. They were flexible with requests. They have overhead speakers for music, TVs for photos. And by far the food was the best. I had multiple wedding guests text me after the event telling me they never had food as good at a wedding. And they covered multiple types of cuisine and it was all top notch. Traveler’s Rest is Best In Class for events and I will always recommend them.

I had my daughter’s bridal shower today July 21. The food was amazing The staff was fantastic! Nelson was wonderful to work with. Everybody absolutely loved and raved about Travelers Rest ! The cake made on premises was sooooo good. People who usually don’t eat cake had it and said it was the best cake they ever had. I gave Nelson a picture of the cake and they made it exactly like the picture. I will definitely be referring Travelers Rest. Gorgeous ambiance. Extremely happy with their venue. Thank you for everything!

In response to your reply to our review I would like to clarify that we requested to see the outside of the building and the surrounding grounds while it was lit up at night during the event. This was the original request for returning on Tuesday night. In our email when we confirmed we would be coming to see the grounds, we requested to be accommodated regarding the food because my fiancé did not want to serve our loved ones food that we have never tasted. This is for our wedding and we apologize for wanting to solidify details and ensure it would be a happy occasion. We are also sorry that you think this behavior, or moreso your response, is appropriate customer service and it does not put your customer at ease.

Reconsider your venue if you want customer service or just someone willing to work with you. We did not use their venue for our event but I will attach the email correspondence to give you an idea of how this business is run.

Just had my daughter’s baby shower brunch and it was amazing. Nelson and his family went out of their way to make my daughter’s day perfect. Super accommodating and very easy to deal with. Food was excellent and plentiful. Awesome staff as well.
This is becoming our go to place for school and sports events (team dinner, etc). Food is above average, classic (tasty) passed appetizers, friendly bar tender.

I hosted a bridal shower at Travelers Rest this Saturday 6/1/24. The event was just perfect. Nelson and his staff attended to every detail to make it a very special day. The food was delicious down to the amazing cake! The staff were so friendly and accommodating. This is a wonderful venue to host any event! My thanks to Nelson and his team!

This was my favorite restaurant for years. I wish they reopened as a restaurant. I believe they do private events only now. Its such a beautiful place, and a nice family owns it.

Travelers Rest is a great venue! We had our niece’s bridal shower there and it turned out beautiful! It is an elegant atmosphere and the food was delicious. The owner, Nelson, and his family, are very responsive and easy to work with; they were engaged throughout the planning process. We recommend this venue highly!

We had our wedding banquet at Traveler's Rest. We had a wonderful experience. We took the rooms downstairs, one side for the cocktail hour and one side for the meal. Both sides were beautiful and had just what we needed. We especially loved the color-changing lights in the main room that we used to do a gender reveal for our child. In the back is a gorgeous garden that we used for photos. Even in the winter it was lovely. The Nelsons were a pleasure to deal with. I'll also call out the food that was sensational. Far better than what I'd expect for a banquet venue especially. It was truly delicious. This includes the cake especially! We really enjoyed working with the team here and felt the event was was great.
