Bevs is a staple in the City of Oswego. Close to the college, and right on the coast of lake Ontario. Beautiful sunsets and a great place to enjoy an ice cream!

Nostalgic ice cream stand with Beautiful location on Lake Ontario. Great customer service and employee was attentive and patient. Ice cream was great, lots of flavors, and even dairy free options. I like that there was a "new to us" picnic table area to sit at that had outdoor lighting for the evening. We went down by the lakeshore after and skipped rocks into the water. Use caution, uneven rocky ground going down to the lake. Rudy's restaurant is within a very short walking distance, so Bev's cream makes an accessible after dinner treat! Would come again for cold ice cream treats in the summer months.
Dietary restrictions: Dairy free options and some sugar-free options. Possibly some gluten-free options (sherberts), but I would use caution with possible cross-contamination. My husband ordered a banana split, and the staff was thoughtful enough to ask about putting nuts on it.
Parking: Roadside parking and some front parking.
Kid-friendliness: Lots of flavors, dairy free options, small dish sizes or baby scoop dishes. Rainbow sprinkles are available.
Wheelchair accessibility: All one level, concrete patio for the queue, and gravel parking lot, use care! Picnic tables are on level surface.

Got 2 scoops of mint chocolate chip and coffee and both were so tasty! And the scoops were huge. It was very smooth and tasty. Thank you!

When I come to Oswego to visit and want some ice cream, Bev's Ice Cream is my go-to spot. Their flavors are delicious, and the service is always friendly. I wouldn't go anywhere else!
Just went tonight and got a small flavor burst and a small chocolate twist with sprinkle. Had to repeat each 3 times to the girl at the window who was trailing off at the end of her sentences like she was under the influence of something. Then she must've put it into the register wrong (after writing it down) because there's no way I should've paid 9$ for the 2 baby size small icecreams I got.
Parking: Usually, there is plenty of parking next to the business, and also a parking lot across the street.
Kid-friendliness: Tons of variety, grass, clean picnic tables, lake access.
Wheelchair accessibility: Street level, no stairs, level walking areas.
Recommended dishes: Sugar Cone, Ice Cream Cone

This is a unique place to go for ice cream. While Perry's ice cream is featured you can ask them to make your serving unique. I love the orange creamsicle milkshake. But the Sundays are just as good. You love to come to Bev's because you can sit at a table and look at Lake Ontario and the lighthouse and just relax. My experience with the staff here is that they are just the nicest people.
Parking: You can park looking at the lake and it's well set up

To the power or manager that showed up late to the unlock the doors for the workers and customers that were waiting to order. There is no excuse to being late, your hours do not change. You should be there for the other employees at least 10 to15 mins early. ( my opinion )
