I was pleasantly surprised finding this place inside of a hotel of all places. The menu is good. It is varied. You can get bar grub under 20 bucks or splurge and get a nice entrée whether it’d be land or sea the seafood platter broiled was the best in the area. I came back twice in one week so that says a lot because it’s the only place I returned back to.

The sun is going down and the Moon is out here at GS Steamers. The bar is full, they have a such a great atmosphere and a live band. Its a nice way to end the day, not to mention Serena always makes you feel welcomed.

For what is suppose to be a “nice place” I was disappointed by how the staff handled an unexpected situation. The bartender and staff allowed someone to celebrate a birthday a little too intensely. It led to said person vomiting all over the outdoor patio where several table were waiting for or receiving their dinner.
The lack of urgency with which the staff responded was impressive in their lack of speed. It wasn’t until “the mom” on shift came out with a mop about 10 minutes after the incident that occurred that things actually got cleaned up. The birthday table slunk out without a word to any of the diners around d them. That was it. No manager came out to apologize for the situation or address it at all. The complete lack of general response from the staff was shocking and disappointing. It will be quite some time before I venture back or recommend this restaurant for good quality meal.
