Clarion Hotel & Suites Riverfront

The breakfast was nice and had more options than most places. The splash park/arcade is small but it was sufficient enough for a dozen 16 year old boys to keep busy and have fun for a weekend. The location is scenic and there’s plenty to see within walking distance.

Staff was great. The pull up bed I could feel the metal that was under the bed, that's the only reason I made it 2 stars

Great staff. Hotel is clean, everything works. Good breakfast options. Could use some refurbishment in our room, but it wasn't terrible by any means. The bed was great. Nice location overlooking the river. I'd stay here again.

Excellent location, great water park! Service was okay, especially when it came to reservations..went down for a tournament and we were the only person not with our team even though I called ahead of time..

Donna at the breakfast station is a sweetheart and an absolute gem, protect Donna at all costs! They don’t make old school breakfasts like that anymore

Clean rooms that could use some real upgrades instead of obvious paint slapping and caulking. No complaints from me though. I wasn't expecting the ritz.

Great weekend stay and play package. Great location right by the river we enjoyed an evening walk. Hotel staff very friendly and accommodating. Comfortable accommodations.

Our family really enjoys this place. The staff are very accommodating, the breakfast is delicious and plentiful. The Water Park is fantastic, and the restaurant on site has a great food selection as well.

The website is misleading and the customer service is lacking. Classic bait and switch of advertising a low room rate on a weekday not making it clear that Splash indoor water park is not open Monday-Thursday. I had several children and adults expecting a birthday celebration that are now disappointed. When I expressed my dissatisfaction I was offered an up-charge of 50% on 3 rooms to move to a weekend or a change to half the offer for a 25% up-charge.

My family stayed at the Clarion as included with our Splash Oswego Stay. We enjoyed being able to stay overnight and enjoy the park both in the evening and morning. This was a super easy weekend stay-cation for my littles!

The room was fine, average. No major concerns or problems overall.

The riverfront was just steps away from our room which had its own door to outside. Very convenient for parking outside the room but also to enjoy the view.

This hotel goes above and beyond for their guests. Each time I have stayed here the staff was friendly and also accommodating. For example- my car had a flat in the morning and the staff helped change the tire and also recommended a shop in Fulton that would help me further. Always enjoy my stay and will be going back again!

Tony at the front desk is beyond helpful in every aspect and could possibly be one of the nicest individuals I’ve met in my life! The hotel restaurant and bar has amazing food and drinks and the most caring and skilled workers around. Very clean all around! Would recommend extremely!

The people working at this place are thieves stole my I phone charger even after leaving 20 dollar tip for cleaning lady and when called the lady at desk and manager were rude as can be saying I must not of left it telling me I didn’t leave anything very unprofessional, even after given room keys to room when we opened the door room was a mess gave them the benefit of doubt maybe they gave us wrong room went down to desk she got us another room which we were happy for but after not returning my iPhone charger I will never stay at that location again.

Overall, it was a wonderful experience. This is our second time staying there. This time, I had my daughter’s birthday party at Splash. I will start there, I have NEVER felt more accommodated than how the staff at Splash made me feel. The manager is who checked us in, asked if there was anything we needed. I had forgotten a few things that were necessary, and they provided every last one of them. Our party room attendant was so sweet and made sure I knew where all the extra things were, just in case I needed more, she checked on us regularly, but did not over-do it. I believe I remember her saying her name is Brooke. The ONLY issue I have, pretty consistently with Splash is the “bartenders”. They honestly are not friendly, not helpful, most of the time they cannot help more than one person at a time, and they are almost never behind the bar to help people. I’m a very generous tipper, but I couldn’t bring myself to tip as generously as I like to, because the overall service at the bar leaves so much to be desired.

The hotel staff is ALWAYS kind, helpful and as accommodating as can be! My only complaint is the lady in the breakfast area in the morning, whom LITERALLY hovers over you and interjects every three seconds to tell you “how” to do everything. I’m a 46 year old woman, I DO NOT need to be babysat and I certainly DO NOT want to be told how to do the basic life things when it comes to gathering food. I’ve left a review about her before, and it CLEARLY has NOT been addressed. She ruins my stay, EVERY time.

I ordered food from Steamers. Honestly, their food is great, but they somehow cannot seem to read requests, nor do they seem to be able to include ALL of the condiments/beverages, etc that COME WITH THE FOOD. I ordered 3 kids meals, that say they come with beverages…didn’t get a single beverage. I ordered a combo app, that was supposed to come with honey mustard for the chicken fingers and salsa for the quesadilla…neither of those sauces were in the bag. This is the second time we have ordered “to-go” to take back to our room, and the second time that the food DID NOT come as stated on the menu. Kitchen staff is hard to find, but little things like this, happening both times, I will likely NOT give them a third chance. Your food isn’t cheap, the least you could do is give your customers what they ordered AND PAID FOR.

I always come here with my children & friends, we are treated very well by the staff in the hotel and waterpark. Room was clean, and spacious enough for the kids to play! We love coming here and will continue to !! Thank you Clarion!
