Get the sweet potato croquettes! I had them for lunch and have been thinking about them all day. Amazing.

The pasta was flavorful and the atmosphere was cozy. Stretched bread is a fan favorite and a must try. The drink menu is expansive and their signature Red Sun is a must try.

I really wanted to like this place. The atmosphere is nice and service is excellent. Drinks, cocktails, beer, it’s all good. The calamari was 5 stars and was excellent.
Now the fall on their face part ... If you are going to use a term like 'blackened' on your dishes, specifically a special, then you probably want to understand the culinary definition and importance of that term. Serving a dry gray steak with no sear and no flavor does not constitute 'blackened'. When you use that term the steak better be seared, seasoned and maintain it's juices. I ordered a blackened strip steak and received a tough, dry, gray, unseasoned cut of meat that was only edible because of the steak sauce. I didn't say anything, wasn't going to, shouldn't have to. That was a total failure. Blackened? No. A Dollar General grade cut of meat that was overcooked in an oven, yes.
I really wanted to like this place. I really wanted to say I found a 5 star place to rival some of my other CNY favorites, but I can't say this ... not after that experience.

Been here many times and never disappointed with the food or service. Pizza is one of the best in town. Alex and Emily always make it more enjoyable. Will be back!

We’re from out of town visiting our nephew at Oswego for family weekend & his birthday. We read the positive reviews & we were looking forward to celebrating his birthday here. The water girl was very friendly & attentive. She was the only positive aspect of the entire dinner.
FOOD:
- Two of the drinks we ordered were wrong. We ordered two sangrias & there was no fruit in them. We mentioned this to the waiter & instead of bringing the correct drinks, he brought over a tiny bowl with a small amount of fruit for the two drinks. We should have known at this point.
- I never received my soft drink.
- Ordered wings as an appetizer, they came burnt & only received 5 small wings instead of 6.
- The bacon on one of the burgers ordered was burnt.
- The French fries that came with the two orders were cold & tasted exactly like McDonalds fries.
- All the food was brought out & everyone was almost done eating while my sister & I were still waiting on our tiny Margherita pizza. The waiter then came over & said it was done wrong & a new pie had to be cooked & it would take less than 5 minutes, yet we waited almost another 15 minutes.
- Finally got the Margherita pie & it is nothing like a true Margherita. Absolutely zero tomato sauce, the cheese tasted very strange & had a strange texture, the crust was very salty. It tasted worse than a grocery store frozen pizza & was $16.
- We originally planned on having desert & possibly sing happy birthday but it was such an awful experience & the food was terrible so we decided not to even attempt it.
SERVICE:
The waiter seemed rushed the entire time although there was just a few people dining. He tried to be friendly & make jokes, but it all seemed very forced & awkward. He never once asked how the food was, if he did we likely would have mentioned all of this.
COST:
It was over $100 & of course we left a tip. We left so disappointed that this is how my nephews birthday dinner went.
I really do not like to leave negative reviews, but cannot comprehend how this place has nearly 5 stars and want to share our experience with others who read reviews so can then decide if they want to eat here.

Can’t say enough good things about this restaurant! Food was delicious, drinks were exceptionally well crafted, staff excellent! I was only in town for one day for business but would return the next time I am in town.

I’ve been here in the past and never had any issues. I went the other day and ordered the chicken gnocchi, which I get often. The gnocchi was ok, but the chicken was extremely hard to eat because of how dry and flavorless it was.
The presentation was also shocking; I’ve never had it served like this, and the portion size was smaller than I’ve ever received before. I had higher expectations based on my previous visits, so to be completely honest, I was in utter shock. Paying $25 for dry, skimpy chicken and overcooked gnocchi was extremely disappointing. I wish I went to bistro or even got a frozen dinner over this.

Party of 4 for dinner. We tried their specials, ribeye, chicken pasta and pizza. All good except for the pizza. I ordered small margarita pizza. First 2 slices tasted delicious but 3rd one all I could taste was salt. Not sure if it was the cheese or someone dumped salt. Service was fantastic!

I’m not sure when they decided to change to egg based noodles for their one vegan dish, but when I first went there this summer, they said everything was completely vegan in that dish. The dish had mushrooms in it and I thought maybe that’s why I was feeling off afterwards. I called the next day just to verify it was vegan and the person on the phone said it was. Two and a half weeks later, I am told that the dish actually isn’t vegan because they use egg based noodles. As I hope they just made this unfortunate change, I’m not 100% sure that was the case. I feel as though it is difficult to trust them after this. I will say, the second time around, they were very patient and were able to customize a dish for me to make it completely vegan. I’m not sure what it was called, something like eggplant risotto but instead of risotto they put ratatouille at the bottom. It was good and so was the hummus we ordered. I’m just not sure I can trust their word. Updated from previous review on 2025-09-09
Well, it wasn’t the food. It was the bartender on Monday, August 25. The young lady took my order and the food sat in the window for 20 minutes. I ordered the stuff sold. The lady Chef looked at the ticket and then finally 15 minutes later, she said to the bartender who only had three people sitting at the bar. Remind her the order was up, so I ate cold, stuffed crab yes the menu has so many good food items on it. Unfortunately, I’m here for the next month for work and when I find a place I go every night and I skipped it. I’ll try if I walk by and see her not working, and hopefully things will be improved. Very disgusting to be paying very expensive prices forhorrible service.

The woodfired ovens give the food a wonderful flavor. I had the wings, my favorite, they were scrumptious. Nice, crisp and not too hot. My wife hat the daily soup ,pablano corn chowder, and the watermelon goat cheese arugula salad. All was very enjoyable. Made our trip from Orlando worthwhile.
