It's an excellent fish fry experience. I would suggest getting your meal to go, and eating by the river or lake. Indoor accommodations are lacking. Staff has always been really nice, though. Food here is ALWAYS delicious! Would recommend over other local fish fry hot spots on price alone, with a comparable menu and quality. It's one of Oswego's best kept secrets.

As with most restaurants in the area, Skip’s Fish Fry was closed in the early afternoon (3:45PM on a Monday). Maybe this is as much a Google Map issue as any. But there was very small sign on the door (unreadable from the road, and all the lights were off.

That was great. This place should be packed. The fish was great. The fries were great. The cole slaw and tartar sauce were great. Good job.

Hungry? Get the seafood platter: jumbo shrimp, large piece of fish, and scallops!

Delicious food, fresh fish, abundant portions. When you bite into the fish your not covered in water and oil unlike some places. Everything has been delicious and staff is very friendly

The best fish in town!!!

Zone Management

One of our favorites when we visit the area. They have maintained the quality, speed and customer service. They have also adapted with technology and Toast Register for payments. Just an added bonus for the Tech Savvy users.

This place was awesome! I grew up in Oswego & was here for a visit, but didn't expect much in tge way of dining out. I was pleasantly surprised! A nicely fried seafood platter with fries & slaw (fish, shrimp & scallops w/malt vinegar and tartar sauce) was ordered & my expectations were exceeded!! Which is no easy feat ?

Good fish, tasted fresh. Very casual dining.

Food quality is reasonable, portion sizes are better than most local fish establishments- although portion consistency needs refined. Food served was tasty, fresh and hot. Gladly will continue our patronage.

I have been here three times in the last two years. I didn't care too much for it, but I wanted to give it a few tries before being done with it, as it seems people like this place for some reason.I was just in for the last time. Service was good and prompt, but should be expected as I was the only customer there. The fish was just OK, which is better than I can say for the last two times I was in. The food is way overpriced. Their $10 fish sandwich is small. This size fish sandwich is $5 to $7 most places between Oswego and Syracuse. The hand made onion rings are mediocre. The frozen fries are meh. Why not do fresh hand cut fries? Would be much better. The $18 dollars I spent for lunch is just way too much for the product received. And that was a deal I guess because I got the lunch special. If the food was of higher quality and the price was closer to $13, it would make sense to go here. Otherwise, you are paying about double what this food is currently worth. Why is it so hard to find a good fish sandwich these days? I miss Jim's fish fry in Syracuse. It was always delicious and if anything it was underpriced. It is probably what ended them during the plandemic.

Stopped by after reading reviews online. This place did not disappoint! The haddock pieces were large, tartar sauce homemade and delicious, and everyone was warm and friendly. Can't wait to stop by again when I'm in the area again!

Always good food. Consistent NE Chowder. Prices aren't ridiculously inflated. The staff is always good to deal with and patient when my kid wants to say his order or can't decide. Eat-in decor is appropriate and not over-the-top. Can't go wrong with the seafood platter with cole-slaw.

Ok. I was VERY disappointed in this. I have been dying for scollops. It was not good. They were so small not even a bite. Lobster roll for 27.00????? Really. Lobster was chewy. Couldn't even eat it. The eating in area was so cold we couldn't even take our jackets off. I brought people from Organ there and was embarrassed. 90 bucks for a really crappy meal! But hang in the bathroom!!! It was a sauna in there. They probably should have spread some of that heat to the dining room.
