I live in the neighborhood and my kids visited often. It makes them feel independent to go in and pick out their own items without me with them. They have been doing this for a few years now problem. Last week they made a new rule that kids can't be in without a parent. Maybe other kids are stealing not sure what the issue is. Well my kids were definitely paying customers, we can see stones from my house!!!! But not anymore... They are overpriced anyway so maybe that's a good thing ?

Just purchased some sponge candy and raspberry jellies, The sponge candy was good, but the jellies must have been old, some had the white waxy coating, and the jellies were sugaring (crystals) . For 36 bucks a pound, I recommend going to Speech's in Syracuse.

Cold January day, and the lady at the counter was busy filling shelves with a smile while chatting with us. Great displays, great products.Parking: About six spots off the street in front of the store, lots of on-street spots today.

Best sponge candy you can find anywhere... period! I've tried many different kinds including Watson's and I would prefer Stone's any day!

Great sweets. Good selection but sometimes you have to order ahead.

Anytime we are back in NY, Stone's is a must stop. Grew up in CNY, and this place has the very best candies. Dark chocolate turtles can not be matched anywhere ?.

They have some very good ice cream and would recommend it to families! The service is great and the ambiance! It's nice to have small businesses in this town.

Was visiting family in NY and was treated to this awesome sweet shoppe! We had Delicious soft serve ice cream, awesome milkshakes, and homemade candy. We definitely will make a habit to stop here on our visits!

Last time I went to stone's it was in its old location. Loved their sponge candy. Went there today and was pretty disappointed. No selection and what they did have didn't look appealing. We also were in there for 8 minutes and no one came to help us, didn't see a single worker or customer the whole time. Ended up going to man in the moon and found a bunch of selections and friendly workers. Ened up spending $65 between the both of us.
