Wade’s is a sacred Oswego institution! My grandma lives in the area and when we visit, we always make at least one or two stops at Wade’s.
The food is delicious and affordable! A rarity these days it seems. We have had their omelettes, cinnamon raisin toast, and pancakes. All were great! The staff are friendly, welcoming, and professional. It’s a modest, comfortable small town diner with great food and lovely people working here. Would recommend to anyone in the area!

Scale and ratings based on a 'local diner.' Nothing fancy or upscale. Just a corner diner serving great breakfast options with a few creations of their own. Large portions for a very fair price.
Hard working staff always doing their best to get you the best experience possible. Often a line at peak times, but worth the wait. Regular stop for us.

The service wasnt good ( like I inconvenienced the waitress for putting in an almost $40 order and needed it to go. I was never offered a menu and when I asked for one that pift the waitress again . ) I didn’t wait long for the order to be ready and that was nice . I’m not sure if it was just me but I didn’t finish my taters and my stomach was upset after the original sit down and again after I ate more of them like 5 hrs later my stomach was upset . Idk it may have been me but I had no gut issues before or after I ate the breakfast taters . The eggs I ordered were supposed to be over medium ( so they would survive the drive home ) but they were not over medium cuz they broke all over the inside of my container and mixed with everything else and made my toast soggy so I had to toss the toast out and make some at home. . Over all I was pretty disappointed ( I’ve been to wades multiple times before this with at most only mild issues now and again . My best piece of advice is GREAT COSTUMER SERVICE IS A MUST THESES DAYS WITH PRICING SO HIGH ON EVERYTHING! Remember when a customer comes in THEY ARE CHOOSING TO HELP KEEP YOUR DOORS OPEN , OWNERS PAID AND KEEPING FOOD ON THEIR TABLES FOR THEIR FAMILIES, THE COOKS AND WAITSTAFF ARE FEEDING THEIR FAMILIES WITH TIPS AND PAY ALSO. The prior stated ONLY HAPPENS IF THE CUSTOMER COMES BACK ( there’s a lot of GREAT breakfast spots in oswego to go to also) .
Parking: Most customers were double parked or crowding the handicap parking spots making it VERY DIFFICULT to park as a handicap Parker .

Fantastic breakfast/lunch restaurant in a neighborhood on the East side. Fast service with a pot of coffee for the table. The frittatta was loaded with meat and vegetables. Great flavor. The 2 egg omelet was filled with cheese, spinach, onions and tomatoes. Served with home fries and toast. Delicious food and very friendly staff. Not sure about the egg inflation charge but everyone is feeling this economy.

My daughter and me went to Wades today. I’m usually happy with the food but,today the toast had so much butter on it u could squeeze it like a sponge. Couldn’t eat it. I tried to mention it to one of the cooks. He didn’t care, said I should have ordered lite butter! So I guess it’s my fault that the toast was swimming in butter? I’ll never return. I didn’t appreciate the attitude the cook gave me. I guess when u have so many customers u don’t care if u lose a couple.
