Twice within the past 10 days wait staff was horrible. Made for a very unpleasant meal.

Our second stay at this great getaway spot—the Inn is super comfy, beautifully restored and updated, and the owners are very helpful. Lots of cute shops and neat restaurants within walking distance, including the inn’s own pub. The river view from the second-floor porch is so relaxing!

This is such a neat hotel. The rooms are clean and cozy, the hotel is well kept but still retains its vintage charm, and Beth the owner is such a nice, friendly, personable woman! The food at the Dugan House pub is amazing. The area around is busy with things to do but quiet and peaceful at the same time. Definitely will be a repeat customer if we ever find ourselves here again!

Stopped into Dugan’s restaurant at the Park View Inn for a meal after visiting the Newberry’s around the corner. We were greeted and seated promptly with a choice of the bar, main dining room or small dining area. Drink orders taken immediately by the host followed by a visit from our server to tell us the specials. Service was excellent, food was divine. My husband had the hanger steak, mashed spuds and corn. Steak was perfectly tender, well seasoned and melt in your mouth delicious. I opted for the crab cakes with mashed and corn. Tons of crab meat and little filler— just the way the should be. my mom had Dubliner Cheese and seafood stuffed haddock with rice and zucchini . Moist flaky fish that was not overpowered by the cheese but well complimented by it. Portions were generous, and everything was cooked to perfection. A slice of coconut cream pie and Guinness chocolate cake completed our meal. All for $80.56 not including tip. Well worth it. The town is quaint and welcoming—feels like you’re in a Hallmark movie. Stop by for a bite, you won’t regret it.

Excellent lodging in a historical 19th century inn, rooms are comfortable, clean and up to date.
Also had dinner at the restaurant, French onion soup, Bruschetta, a (most excellent) burger and the Irish beef dip accompanied by a few well mixed Martini's were excellent, stay was excellent, highly recommended!

A great experience. Super clean rooms with a lot of character. could tell that a lot of care went into the planning and refurb of the rooms... a lot of little touches that made the visit enjoyable. We did reach out twice about the non working TV but never got a response. Guess that's why we all pack laptops.

Staying at the 1867 Parkview Inn was a fabulous experience. We loved the history and the vibe at this historic inn, which sits across the street from Draper Park and the Susquehanna River. Everyone who helped us during our stay was cordial and hospitable. Yes, the rooms are a bit small, but ours was immaculately clean and quite comfortable, and we appreciated the proximity to access to the lovely balcony. We also truly enjoyed the Dugan House restaurant, which is within the same building. We had a tasty meal and lively conversation while dining at the bar. Our bartender was both friendly and funny. Owego is a very walkable small city and the 1867 Parkview Inn is well situated to take advantage of that feature. In all, a charming place to stay.

Right off the bridge across from a park and on the river. Close to restaurants and shops. Comfortable beds and stylish kitchenettes.

Nearby activities: Antique shops, hiking, great restaurants and miscellaneous shops with everything from locally made soaps, clothing candles etc.

Walkability: The entire old Town downtown is very walkable.

Evening out with a friend. Scalloped potatoes and ham looked great that she ordered. My salmon with dill dressing on plate of salad was delicious. Certainly hope this is a special another time as I would definitely order again. Great service.
