Our second stay at this great getaway spot—the Inn is super comfy, beautifully restored and updated, and the owners are very helpful. Lots of cute shops and neat restaurants within walking distance, including the inn’s own pub. The river view from the second-floor porch is so relaxing!
This is such a neat hotel. The rooms are clean and cozy, the hotel is well kept but still retains its vintage charm, and Beth the owner is such a nice, friendly, personable woman! The food at the Dugan House pub is amazing. The area around is busy with things to do but quiet and peaceful at the same time. Definitely will be a repeat customer if we ever find ourselves here again!
Stopped into Dugan’s restaurant at the Park View Inn for a meal after visiting the Newberry’s around the corner. We were greeted and seated promptly with a choice of the bar, main dining room or small dining area. Drink orders taken immediately by the host followed by a visit from our server to tell us the specials. Service was excellent, food was divine. My husband had the hanger steak, mashed spuds and corn. Steak was perfectly tender, well seasoned and melt in your mouth...
