On a Tuesday night in Spring, sitting in the bar area of this restaurant for dinner with friends is the best place to be! A beautiful restaurant with great food and service.

Food very good. A little too noisy. No wine by the glass list is crazy - forces the waiter to bring the bottles to the table.

Wonderful restaurant! Food is amazing as always and love their specialty cocktails! Our server was friendly and knowledgeable and tended to our every need! Ambiance is perfect and excellent for romantic evening or even dinner with the family! Highly recommend this restaurant to all!

Absolutely amazing experience. Ambiance was beautiful. Food was amazing from start to finish with one dish being better than the next. Service was top notch, attentive and very personable. Would highly recommend and return back for another amazing meal.

We have dined at 2 Spring a few times now and have only had wonderful meals there. The service is patient and courteous. The pace of the visit is perfect. The food is truly splendid and often innovative. Chef Jesse Schenker has not rested on his laurels. He continues to improve. 2 Spring has become our special occasion go-to spot.

The food was so salty it was borderline uneatable. And the portion sizes were very very small for the price. I understand portions in a tasting menu are usually smaller but we left hungry. The service was ok, our waiter was attentive but seemed to lack knowledge of the menu.

The food was good but the service was subpar - the server did not acknowledge the birthday we were celebrating with a candle or anything(which both the hostess and server asked about), water glasses were empty half the time and the food that was wrapped to take home was never brought out and they called us to tell us after we left. Overall would not recommend for any birthday or special occasions and would expect better service.

Lovely casual fine dining, everything was delicious but specifically impressed with the preparation of the vegetables.

A huge thank you Andrew for helping me plan a JOYful holiday celebration for the Mitlin team!
The food was outstanding (yes the bread warrants it's own photo) and the service was amazing.

I highly recommend it!

Dinner at 2 Spring was outstanding.
Andrew planned a pick-your-own 4 course dining experience as a holiday season for the Mitlin team that exceeded our expectations.
It was a truly enJOYable evening filled with amazing food, an attentive staff, and a environment welcoming!
We will be back.

A very disappointing Thanksgiving dinner. I was embarrassed to have booked it. Very high prices for not a gourmet meal. Several of our party ordered soup - the portions barely covered the bottom of the bowls. My Turkey dish (Thanksgiving, right?) consisted of 3 lonely pieces.

A surprising and unique tasting experience that felt like an escape from mundane Long Island cuisine. Come for the adventurous and unexpected flavors, stay for the cozy atmosphere, welcoming staff and daring cocktail list. Highly recommend.

Let me preface by saying that I’m not against spending $600 for dinner as long as you can back it up. That being said, this place did not even come close to living up to expectations. I’ll start off with the positives - the sommelier was great in helping us choose a great wine and the French fries were delicious, along with the s’mores and fried chicken. Everything else was either very salty or mediocre at best. This is coming from someone who loves a heavy amount of over seasoning on my food.

I came here to celebrate my birthday with my gf. We arrived 20 minutes early to a mostly empty restaurant. We were escorted to the second floor, when we asked if it was possible to sit in the atrium given no one was there. We were told that those tables were reserved for larger parties. They cooped us in the corner next to the glass wall by the stairs and it was very uncomfortable. Literally the worst table available in a mostly empty restaurant. There was only one other couple on the floor with us. Throughout the night, they were giving 4 seater tables to parties of 2 throughout the restaurant so that just seemed unfair and it felt like a slap in the face. All of our food and drinks could barely fit on the table, meanwhile other parties of 2 with the larger tables barely ordered any food.

Flatbread - decent but salty

Goat cheese roll - salty

Various breads - cold and tacky

Pancake - cancelled the order

Cocktails - hilariously tiny portions for $18

Caesar salad - tastes like a salt bomb

Fried chicken - very good but small portions

Bucatini & clams - another salt bomb

Prime strip steak - nothing special but seasoned well. The sauce was mediocre.

Dry aged duck - a bit bland and the sauce was mediocre

French fries - good, cooked in lard

S’mores - very good, hot & cold with multiple textures

The staff was attentive but it also felt like we were being rushed. We weren’t given the opportunity to really enjoy our time and wine. The rushed experience coupled with being seated at an uncomfortable table left a sour taste in our mouths.

Very noisy in the restaurant and we were not warned that we could not sit in the main dining room due to a special party taking up the entire downstairs. This was a special occasion for us and since our last excellent meal here during a farm to table event, we were excited to come back. Had I been informed of the chaotic and probably fun party overwhelming the bar and restaurant, we would have chosen another day. Prices are high. but we do not typically care if the food is special. But this time the food was quite below what we were accustomed to. Service was friendly but uniformed and lacking. For some reason they can not provide a list of wines by the glass with descriptions and pricing to the customer. We had the flatbread which was good. Tuna tartar, poor. Duck, quite excellent. Short rib, horrible and maybe worst I have ever tasted. ( I mentioned this to the manager but he was so busy with the party that I do not think he heard me.) Also the roasted carrots were good.
Overall a bit surprised we were not given some small consideration given the fact that we could not celebrate our special occasion in the beautiful dining room as we had expected.
