one of the best Italian restaurants ever...appetizers were large and could easily be shared.. Mains were more modest in size and just large enough...loved the house wines. Servie was attentive

Great place!! Food absolutely delicious. The pasta made fresh the drinks with a different spin exciting and yummy. The service outstanding will definitely return!

When you step into Gioia, you can see where the fresh pasta you will be enjoying is made. The restaurant is very quaint and cozy with beautiful fine China on the table. Lifelike candles burn in the sconces. The waitstaff is extremely knowledgeable about the food and gave great recommendations. The pasta is like eating butter. It's firm but so tasty and so different than a box! The Cheese Ravioli over spinach was a hit. And the pasta with Shrimp and Asparagus was so flavorful. We enjoy this local spot.

This restaurant is overrated. Our first visit was disappointed. But we decided to give it another try. Same deficiencies as last time.

Way too loud, food was good but could be better. Service was ok. Menu needs more variety. Second time visiting and not sure I would come back.

We enjoyed dinner and the service on Saturday night but the noise level was pretty loud. I was also disappointed as I had noted that the reservation was for a birthday but it was never acknowledged.

I've visited here several times and the first few i've felt like i was at upscale restraunt with incredible service and food. The past two visits i've been extremely disappointed with service and overall experience. Service was horrible on a Wednesday night when the place was empty and had to ask several times for bread. Also waited extremely long time for both our appetizers and entrees. Also, the bathrooms are covered in gnats and flies so makes me wonder what the kitchen is like!

Excellent fresh homemade pasta. Burrata with prosciutto is amazing. Outstanding attentive service. Props to Astrid our waiter.

Gioia never disappoints!! We have been here multiple times since they opened and have an outstanding experience every time.

Today was no different- we took advantage of the $59 prix fixe menu and enjoyed the baby gem salad, cheese trolley, magliati and the newest addition of the summer risotto.

The ambience is perfect- not too loud, can hear yourself talk with music in the background. Service is perfectly timed- you are not waiting long between courses, yet you are not rushed through your meal.

The intimate setting is perfect for a special occasion or just a date night out.

This is the true hidden gem of Oyster Bay- look no further for great food and service.

Have tried this place three time Very rushed service every time !
The staff is a little over pretentious
The prices are ridiculous and the dishes are sold as elevated but less than mediocre
Don’t know why the hype is about

Gioia is small but intimate restaurant which has a nice selection of appetizers. The staff is very friendly and accommodating. The pasta, we tried three different selection were all delicious. Appetizers are large enough for you to make it a tapas type selection. The shrimps were excellent, the beans delicious, the crudo plate large enough to share and the cauliflower worth considering even as a side dish. The deserts are a must if you have a sweet tooth.

Every single dish is amazing, and the service is fantastic! The mushroom lasagna is delicious.

Food was outstanding. Service was friendly and catered to our needs. But very noisy, expensive but not exorbitant. Difficult to park.
