Wonderful dishes; creative, varied; all delicious and beautifully presented. Service was excellent, pleasant, attentive. Venue is beautiful but a bit noisy, since all the surfaces are hard and the ceiling is fairly low. Looking forward to our next visit, which might be at an off time so it's a bit less crowded and, therefore, maybe not as noisy.
We found L'Etoile recently after opening 10 months ago. The ambiance and service were great. The menu of traditional French brasserie is well written with a lot of great offerings. The food was delicious and well thought out. We both had the duck. The breast ordered MR was slightly overcooked and a very thin piece (1/3) of the breast. The leg was a little bland. We visited for a Valentine's Day dinner and had such a wonderful experience from start to finish. The service was exceptional — the team walked us through the evening's specials, explained each dish in detail, and thoughtfully answered all of our questions about the menu. It made choosing (and ordering!) even more exciting. The ambiance is small, quaint, and charming, with plenty of windows that give the space a warm and intimate feel — perfect for a romantic evening....
