Cozy and inviting roadside cafe; really tasty food!
FOOD: My boyfriend and I stopped here on the way back from a hike. The CT Lobster rolls on a sign out front caught my eye and tasted even better than they looked. Warm and buttery and served with a side salad. I ordered the classic Mac and cheese - this exceeded my expectations. Creamy, cheesy with a crispy herbal topping.
DRINKS: Didn’t go for anything alcoholic, got a root bear which was sweet and tasty. I did notice that this spot had a variety of IPA’s and good amount of healthy refreshing drinks, and homemade lemonades too.
SERVICE: The server’s were really nice and were great with suggesting different food options.
AMBIANCE: For a roadside stop, this place is pretty quaint. It’s small inside but has a nice size patio along the side that leads out into the parking lot. Lots of greenery around and nice that this place is dog-friendly.
OVERALL: Definitely a great spot to grab a bite of something good and relax before hitting the road again.

It is almost that they went out of their way to ensure nothing there is plant based, in spite of their extensive menu. You would imagine that an establishment that evidently services so many active customers would at least offer one vegan item. That usually happens when management projects their personal bias and forgetting they are there to serve the greater public. Try it, I bet you many of the cyclists and others are plant based. welcome to the 2000's.

Their bakery and baked goods is over-rated dry and not that great including their breakfast sandwiches - eggs - croissant and baked bread - it isn't that great and quite overpriced you're paying for their high rent - it's the only restaurant/ stop that accommodates motorcycle and bikes ... it attracts great crowd and respectable hollywood stars that live in the great NY area - but don't bother wasting your money - Their coffee is ok but spend your money elsewhere or bring your own food - at least their bathrooms are settle clean but many rude liberals - many are mouthy

Lifelong Palisades resident, and have loved the 9W Market/The Filling Station since it opened back in 2011! A HUGE improvement over the previous ownership when it was called the Palisades Market which opened in the spring of 2010 and was only open for a few months and then closed. I was so disappointed with the Palisades Market because it lacked a decent food selection and this community needed something so much more. Luckily, the owners of the 9W Market have done such an amazing job! I’ve never had a bad meal here! The ingredients are high quality and super fresh! The atmosphere and ambiance is very relaxing and tranquil! Love the bistro theme on the indoor side and picnic theme by the filling station burger stand. Not to mention, the burgers are the best I’ve ever had! Made with high quality grass fed beef! This is gourmet nyc restaurant style food right in our local neighborhood! Keep up the great work!
This a nice place for people that like to ride bikes and motorcycles ?️
And share with your friends and family

One of my favorite spots to hit when on a ride on my Harley. The burgers outside are exceptional and the food inside is very clean and healthy.

I would give this place 6 stars if I could. Outstanding pastries and drinks, and the service is so friendly and accomidating. High traffic on the weekends, but well ran and kept clean. Very nice outdoor seating and atmosphere in general.

This is a cyclist centered cafe with fresh pastries, breakfast sandwiches/burritos, and a ton of deli style lunch/dinner options. I bike here with friends from Manhattan often and it always hits the spot. The quality for the cost of the food is solid.

Great place to stop off halfway during a bike ride from Manhattan and over the GW Bridge. Tasty food, lots of cyclists, lots of bakery items.

I am always looking forward to the summer menu at 9W market. Unfortunately my $30 lobster roll, was the biggest disappointment. Lobster roll was a hotdog bun with lobster with mayo that’s it. Not an actual lobster roll. Chips were stale and salad was ok. After ordered it was pointed to a corner of to go orders, not even handed to me. For this kind of money, it should be a lobster salad on a brioche roll. Been coming here since I was a kid, not anymore.
