Great place! The food was all delicious, our favorites were the brisket beans and the smoked Mac and cheese. The meat was all so good! The pulled pork sandwiches were perfect. A great experience. We will be back.

First time trying this place & it won't be our last! Absolutely delicious! We decided to share the Hart Attack plate since it had a little bit of everything on it and it was more than enough for 2 people! The pulled brisket was the best brisket we've had in the area! All of the meat was perfectly seasoned and smoked! The coleslaw & fried salt potatoes were absolutely delicious! The restaurant is small, but very clean & very friendly staff. The prices are on the higher end, but you get what you pay for! HIgh quality food and ingredients! We are so happy to finally find a good BBQ place in the area! We drove from Canandaigua & it was well worth the drive! Highly recommend Black Hart BBQ! We are already planning a return visit!

Best ribs! I drove from Rochester and the drive was worth it. I had the "Hart Attack" dish: pulled pork, pulled chicken, rib, potatoes, beans plus more! Excellent portions and the lady who took my order and cashed me out was super friendly.

Open weekends only 12PM - 7PM.As some have pointed out, the food is pricy for the size, but I figure I'd spend about the same at a fast food place.Tax is already figured into the prices. I had:1/3 pound pulled chicken, $10.Salt potatoes (3), $312 ounce can Diet Pepsi, $2.$15 total.They have 3 bbq sauces, sweet n tangy, honey mustard, and hot. All are served on the side.

First time trying this place as my favorite was a little out of the way.Cons:Limited hoursPricing vs portions seemed rather steep.Everything is a la carte, not a deal breaker but seemed a little ridiculous compared to every other BBQ joint semi-locally.The pulled chicken had a soupy "slop" consistency and appearance, then adding the BBQ of choice only made it that much more watery.Pros:The staff I interacted with was friendlyFairly speedy serviceClean dining area.Baked beans were goodCornbread, a little on the dry side but tasted good.No complaints to the salt potatoes.Overall it was an ok experience, but for the $ and value... I will probably make the inconvenient haul to Good Smoke in East Rochester.
