This little restaurant doesn't look like much, but the meal was excellent.
To try the buritos, it's for two ?

Really enjoyed our food, the chipotle mango calamari was refreshing and delicious. I saw critical reviews about both the salsa and the mole sauce, but I loved both, even getting to bring some salsa home for later! It was flavorful and a bit sweet without being too spicy. The service was a bit slow but they were very understanding of us dining with kids, and the booth needed a bit of repair. Otherwise, it was a really great spot and I'll happily visit again!

Great, authentic Mexican food. I'm from California and grew up eating authentic Mexican. It's always great to find an authentic Mexican restaurant on the East Coast.
Popped in on a Sunday and the service was Really great.

Service was great but the food was tasteless. Coming from California, I was disappointed that they called this Mexican food.

Called ahead for two orders of fish tacos, and order was ready in 15 mins. OMG, crispy fish, tangy/flavorful fresh creamy salsa topped with crunchy shoestring fries, WOW, they were delicious!! Loved every bite!

Great food
I’ve driven past Tios on numerous occasions and have never thought to go in. It’s one of the lesser known, “hole-in-the-wall” type restaurants amongst Patterson’s and Pawling’s “busier” spots. However, a friend talked up Tios and their authenticity, making it try-worthy.As a whole, I wouldn’t call Tios overly impressive. The outside of the restaurant is perfectly fine and I can appreciate the colorfully decorated interior. Without any music playing and without any noticeable restaurant staff on a Thursday evening, it felt like Tios was lacking any signs of life. After sitting myself my friend had joined me and it took at least a few minutes for someone to come out and offer us menus. The gentleman who played multiple roles and served as the host and waiter was actually very friendly, but the service felt a tad dis-jointed. Menus were given, complimentary chips and salsa was brought out, but our drinks (which we ordered first), didn’t arrive until our main dishes came, which seemed odd since nothing necessarily had to be “‘made.”I ordered a Coke and Enchiladas with a Mole Sauce. The portions were large and I appreciated the amount of sauce and toppings on my enchiladas along with the side of rice and beans.Overall, I felt everything was good, especially the shredded chicken, but my enchiladas seemed soggy. There was a nice depth of flavor and while I enjoyed the mole, next time I would prefer to order something just a tad spicier. And if you’re like me and like to prep by looking at the menu beforehand, just be mindful that the menus posted online doesn’t reflect the restaurant’s recent price increase. All in all, if you don’t mind something a little more low key and want to get a decent introduction to Mexican cuisine, Tios is a good place to start. If ambiance is more your vibe, I would personally pass, but given the food was well-made and decently priced, I’d stop in again.

Not all Mexican restaurants have that unique flavor. This Mexican restaurant/bar has free (limited) parking and is not fully accessible (just the restroom) with bilingual staff. The food was very bland and extremely salty. For example, Mole should have a sweet and tangy taste with a hint of spice it didn't have either. The salsas dip not made fresh, you can tell by the taste, but most places aren't either. I believe the only thing delightful was the Horchata (Agua fresca) and the desserts Churros & Flan. As well as a variety of Mexican sodas. Overall, it's not the best, but i'm willing to go back and try it once more. I will keep you updated.
