I love this little place - the food is always fantastic and you can’t beat the service! It’s a great place for friends, but I also love to come here by myself for the friendly ambiance and great food! It’s a wonderful place to hang out in and I always feel safe - it definitely makes going to the laundromat next door less of a chore when I have The Turk to look forward to! Very happy to have more options in Pawling!

since we have lived up here in this area i have been searching for a turkish restaurant and I am so glad i have found one in our area. Everything we ordered was great and I am sure the whole menu is equally good. My only complaint is all restaurants this day and age are charging a lot of money.. It is what it is.

We were looking for a pawling deli & lunch, then stumbled into The Turk for Kebobs. What a joy, with owner Simon (?), his lady and their fab waitress. What a joy, singing a birthday song for another guest and even a music session on a "lute." Highly recommended!
Vegetarian options: Most Turkish food is meat free, with Eggplant, hummus, etc.
Dietary restrictions: I can't eat Eggplant and owner helped me eat around it on his complimentary dips dish.

Run, do not walk! This place is unbelievable. The owner is kind and accommodating. He played music for us and made our family comfortable right away. The food is so so delicious. We ordered the whipped feta plate, spinach pies, kafte, chicken shawarma, mixed meat plate, etc. Everything was wonderful! We loved it so so much. Glad we found it.
