Just moved to River Vale from Astoria Queens and tried this on my way home from the Gym (Retro in PR). First off I came in 15 mins before they closed and they were about to close the kitchen and reopend it to make my tacos so kindness already wins! However, the most important part …The Food. If you are expecting Michelin Star tacos then you should go to a Michelin Star restaurant. For anyone that says the food is not good is just bsing. This is a solid taco spot and good to eat on the go or for a quick lunch or dinner. I have had plenty of good tacos being from queens having some of the best taco spots in the world in my boro. This place would definitely compete has a solid neighborhood spot in Queens. Definitely worth going and eating. Plus the five tacos for 15 bucks is a pretty good deal in an inflationary world. Don't listen to the haters that say this food isn't good.

I ordered pickup and arrived on time to pickup my order which was clearly visible on the counter behind the register. I waited 20 mins in the store for the only employee who speaks English to finish arguing with another customer only for her to tell me that yes that was my order and to hold on a few moments while she took another tables order. I ended up grabbing my order from behind the counter since my break from work was over. Thank you

Rude customer service, didn't update their prices on the menu which led to false pricing and miscommunication, dingy atmosphere, awful experience overall.

Such a disappointing experience tonight. I went to pick up an order that was supposed to be ready at 6, but I received it at 6:20, that’s okay. But when I got home, I noticed items were missing. I immediately called and said I’d be coming back for them. I assumed the girl on the phone would have told the kitchen I was coming back, but when I get there 10 minutes later, after a few minutes she asked what it was that I needed (???).
So she writes the ticket for the kitchen, said it’d be 10 minutes. I’m waiting for 20 more minutes, then she proceeds to go into the bar area with two customers (she was the only phone/counter person).
I see that my order is up behind the counter, and I literally had to tell her to please come get it for me. Not a single apology or acknowledgment that I’ve been at this for an hour. And I get it, the service industry sucks, so I expect the bare minimum. But this was so disappointing & I won’t return.

Delicious food, full of flavor. The tacos, quesadillas and churros were delish! You should definitely give it a try. The service is a little slow but worth it.

I had some amazing tacos at Taco Taxi — full of flavor and super fresh. The service was friendly and fast, and the staff (especially the kind ladies serving) made the whole experience even better. Highly recommend if you're craving real, tasty tacos!

I’m really disappointed with Taco Taxi. They force you to buy 4 or 5 tacos when sometimes people just want 2 or 3. It makes no sense to limit customers like that. Not everyone wants to eat that much, and it takes away the flexibility of ordering what you actually want. This community is very supportive of local businesses, but this is not what we want here in Pearl River. It’s frustrating and feels unfair. I won’t be coming back unless they change this policy.

Ordered two burritos bowls and guacamole with green and red sauce to go . No sauces in the go box or in the burrito called restaurant lady was not considerate and telling me it is not her fault. Portion sizes are really small . 10$ guac was served in water cup

Terrible service and overall terrible workers. You expect your order to be fully delivered to you. Only received part of my order and called only to be met by a terrible person on the other end that wanted to charge us again to order even though we paid $13 for a fricking torta (which we order). 0/10 never ordering from here again. I recommend ordering from an actual Mexican place ☺️☺️

Customer services is the worst. Waitress keep us waiting 10 minutes meanwhile she’s chitchatting whit kitchen guy. I took menu my self. We got drinks michelada the worst I ever try, margarita no flavor. Food no that good. I’m not coming back, they use to be good not enymore.
