My mother and I went to Dean’s Coffee shop yesterday while visiting the area. This was one of the cutest coffee shops I have ever been too. The owner is so kind, so focused on the customer, and the customer experience. Every drink and food item is crafted with kindness and love. I highly recommend visiting this little gem. I will definitely be going back:)

Stopped into Dean’s Coffee Co. and had such a great experience. The shop itself has a warm, welcoming vibe, and the drinks were spot on. Zaid, the barista, really made the visit memorable — super friendly, attentive, and clearly knows his craft. My coffee was perfectly made, and the service felt personal rather than rushed. Between the cozy atmosphere, great pastries, and top-notch customer service, this is definitely my new go-to spot in Pearl River. Highly recommend asking for Zaid if you stop by!

I ordered a matcha latte with oat milk and a gluten free vegan blueberry oat bar. The bar was good. Unfortunately, the drink was not. It was not a matcha latte, it was matcha flavored oat milk at best. I could barely taste the matcha at all since so little was added to the drink. It was disappointing.

deans is a fantastic little coffee shop in Pearl River. It’s beautiful and DELICIOUS and is one of my favorite (new) things about my old hometown. It feels perfectly modern for a small town and the vibes are perfection for a coffee shop. The guy barista doesnt love to talk or smile lol, but he makes BEAUTIFUL lattes and they taste like heaven. For a small space its not impossible to find a table (dont know about peak times though). Prices are average for fancy coffees, but they taste amazing. Pastry selection is far above average- lots of great choices and MANY gluten free, which surprises me and makes me happy for people with celiac out there who can never indulge at coffee shops. I love the vast array of options for different coffees and teas too, a lot for such a small space. Lastly, I like the little display of local goods they have for sale; it’s fun and feels like it also supports the local community which is nice.
Dietary restrictions: there’s lots of gluten free pastries!!!!!
Parking: go park near the library and enjoy a little walk across the field; it’s free for 2-4 hours and you got a walk (5 min) to enjoy your pastry 😁
Kid-friendliness: they seem to not mind when a table of kids comes in to gossip and play at being grown ups without ordering and just sitting and talking, which is kind of sweet?
Wheelchair accessibility: i think there is a step up inside so not wheelchair accessible. if you can get in that step, the bathroom is large and roll-in-able.
Great cute coffee place. Really like the espresso and that they serve it in a cup if you eat in. Relaxed service, great environment and vibes
