Genuinely had a great time. Had not been up to Pearl River in years and just decided to jump on the motorcycle and see what was up. I had never been in Mickey's before and found myself surrounded by kind and helpful staff, pleasant patrons, and a lively but not packed atmosphere. It was just what I needed, an escape from the 3 places I normally go. I'd stop back more often but it is like 70 miles round trip from my house.
My experience was grand but not what you think. I gave 4 stars because I went during St.Patty's! I loved it but I didn't experience all the Tavern has to offer like catering, food, or the usual activities like billards. Overall fun, chill, and welcoming.
*Preface* I AM 21. I was initially denied because of my ID (Maine). But instead of being rude, Liam the bouncer was kind and had a conversation with my friends and I. After a couple of minutes, he showed my ID to the owner, who gave us entry. Liam was extremely kind and personable while also doing what was best for his business - everything you’d wish for in an employee.
