We enjoyed our visit. The cocktails were quite good, the food was pretty sold and the service was decent. Pricer than most places, but would recommend.

Four of us entered 3 hours prior to closing inquiring for a table and there was a wait, which was fine on a busy Friday night. So we asked to get drinks at the bar to wait. (& spend more money...?) The host was not accomodating and rude and we felt like a burden when there was certainly room at the bar. A couple offered to move over so we could all be seated together, we have been here before and loved it when rose the owner was bartending, so we decided to stick around and have a drink! We sat at the bar waiting to be given a menu, or even have anyone acknowledge us (4 employees, 9 patrons at bar) we sat there for 20 minutes before we finally felt so uncomfortable and unwelcome that we left, went to the tavern next door and had the best service and food! This place is beautiful but what good is a beautiful space when you pretty much blatantly turn people away with your unprofessional behavior? This place needs better management, very disappointed in our visit.

Had a Great experience! Drinks were interesting, may take a leap of faith on your part, Bacon washed old fashion, but you won't be disappointed. App... Crab was melody of flavors with a kick at the end and the entree "Pen" was perfectly done. The desert was vanilla panash (?) with fresh apples and Carmel finished off the meal. On top of it all our Server David was knowledgeable and attentive.

The most pretentious place we’ve ever eaten. We were not “allowed” to order until the kitchen approved. Food was mediocre and overpriced. Chef came out but was afraid to ask our opinion. Drinks were good (once we were allowed to order). Will not be back!!!

If it weren't so expensive, it might be worth visiting, but on the whole, I wouldn't recommend it. Beet salad starter: The beets were underseasoned and completely undressed (though the crispy goat cheese was nice); our mains (chicken w/ peanut sauce and pork roulade) were dry and uninspiring. Our server was very nice, but it took everything a very long time to come out. On top of all that, the table had paper napkins, which is pretty unacceptable at this price point.

Loved this cute little bar/ restaurant. Its vibe is cozy, classy and sophisticated. The host was absolutely fantastic. Made accommodations for us since it was close to peak hours for dinner. Our bartender was fabulous and sociable. Bar menu was great. We did not eat so we did not look at their dinner menu. I had the Lavender Smoke cocktail which had a cube of lavender ice. Prices are average for high end cocktails and drinks. Cleanliness is above par. Overall please try this place. You won’t be disappointed. We will def be back for our next wine trip and will be bringing more people.

The service we received was atrocious. We were mostly ignored while we sat for almost 2 hours waiting for a burger and a chicken dish. We had planned to get an appetizer, dessert and try more cocktails but our waiter never gave us a chance. When we tried to order anything we were told he'll see if we're "allowed" to order yet due to pacing and then he'd ignore us for 20 more minutes at a time. We were very patient and understood the drinks take time but this was unacceptable. We ended up leaving without eating and not only did none of the staff apologize for the obviously terrible experience, they ignored us while we tried to settle our drink balance and then told us they like to stagger their food- okay number one what food?! you haven't served us any, number two whatever system you have doesn't work if customers aren't allowed to order and are told this is acceptable to have no food because of the pacing for the entire restaurant. Nearly 2 hours for no food and no service is unacceptable and not your customers fault. How insulting to tell a customer that your slow, horrible service is their fault - we will tell everyone we know to avoid

I travel a lot and I often eat at different restaurants in different cities and they all feel the same - a few stand out. 18th Amendment is truly a gem. Rose, the owner, curates everything perfectly and she always has new dishes and drinks for her guests. My fiancée and I vacation in the finger lakes 4 or 5 times a year and we always make a point to eat at both 18th Amendment and its sister, Burnt Rose. This place is an experience! We love you Rose & Chet!
