We live in Wisconsin and have been club members at AR for a few years. Decided this year when we visited to do the owner led tour. Sure glad we did!! Owner John and his staff were friendly, gracious and very hospitable. We even met winemaker Peter. Tasting the wonderful wines reminded us of why we decided to join their wine club.

Anthony Road Wine Company is a fantastic stop, not just for wine, but also for its beautiful aesthetics. Both the indoor space and the outdoor lawn are incredibly picturesque, making it a perfect spot for taking photos.

When it comes to tasting, they offer a well-structured experience. I opted for a tasting flight, and you can choose from three distinct options: the Dry White Flight, the Dry White, Rosé, and Red Flight, or the Semi-Sweet Flight. Each flight consists of five different wines. I personally went with the Dry White and Rosé selection, and I found the wine composition to be thoughtfully curated.

It's a wonderful place to enjoy some great wines in a lovely setting, with plenty of opportunities for memorable pictures!

My family recently surprised my husband and I with an after-hours private dinner for our 45th Anniversary. It was nothing short of perfect - wine and charcuterie on the patio, a lovely dinner with an independent caterer that they recommended, all perfectly paired with their top-notch wines. What a delightful evening!

One of the best in the area. A family affair. They were very friendly and helpful. We bought more bottles there than any where else. A must see!

Beautiful location, the 6 of us dumped $50 of wine. Tried each of the patio flights offered.
Very friendly staff though.

We thoroughly enjoyed this winery visit. One of our favorites. Delicious assortment of dry whites, white blends, and dry reds. There wasn't a tasting we disliked. Walked out of there with several bottles in hand.

Delicious wines, warm personable service in a lovely setting. A must try when in the FLX region.

This is, by far, my favorite winery in the Finger Lakes. My husband especially enjoyed the juice flight since he doesn’t drink wine.

Cab Franc was served cold! The glass was frosty! As a red wine drinker I am not use to red wine being served cold! Pino Gris was light and crisp! Pretty atmosphere!

When my wife and I arrived, we were very skeptical when we heard that all you offered was a "flight". This presentation was different from what we know as a traditional tasting. However,...we actually enjoyed the flight. Our server Gate was very attentive and personable. We were there on Wednesday 9/4/24 in the early afternoon, the winery was not crowded at all. We liked the presentation of the different flights. We liked that each wine was poured in its own individual wine glass. When we went to Ventosa, they too offered a flight, however, only one of the five wines was poured in an actual wine glass, the other four were in plastic shot cups. A pathetic presentation!!! Our experience at Anthony Rhodes was positive!!! Thanks Gate!!!!

We visited on Sunday 9/22 and hands down the group decided it was # 1 out of 4 wineries/vineyards we visited! Low key, delicious wine, friendly hosts and owner(s) and not overly commercialized with expensive trinkets. You can bring your own snacks too (if there isn’t a food truck there). Did I mention the beautiful view of Lake Seneca? Their vegetable garden is decorated for the spooky season and welcomes a few wanderers. It was the perfect end to the day! Put this stop on your list!

We had a wonderful experience at Anthony Road winery. The staff were friendly and wonderful, and the wines were really great! The grounds were pretty too. I will be joining the wine club and coming back!

Stopped here somewhat randomly while driving through the area and am so glad we did. Gracious staff, beautiful scenery, and lovely garden where we picked raspberries and currants to take back to our table.
To be honest, I'm not really much of a wine drinker, but I really enjoyed the flight of reds I tried with a cheese accompaniment. It was the perfect casual and relaxed evening.
And on a slightly coarser note, if I may-- the pricing was very reasonable.
