Great wine bar/restaurant in the hear of Penn Yan. We went here twice on our recent Finger Lakes vacation. The first night we had wine at the bar and then came back the next night for dinner. The food was awesome. The burrata appetizer was very tasty. 3 people in our party had the butter chicken and it was the best i've ever had. Another in our party had the salmon and that was great too. Staff was awesome. give it a try.
Fantastic food, drinks and service! Hanna is a top notch server!
We haven’t been in awhile and the food was incredible, we had the salmon and lobster fradiavolo .was so good and Hanna was great and of course always great catching up with Rose.
We stumbled upon this place while visiting the area and made a dinner reservation. We were very impressed with the quality of food & presentation. The menu offered great variety and the food was fresh. The service was very friendly and personable. Our server, Hannah & the chef were very accommodating of gluten & dairy allergies and were willing to make changes to the menu accordingly.
Excellent food, excellent service. We highly recommend.
Great accommodations for food allergy's. Food was amazing and staff was just as great. Would recommend to anybody!
After several so-so meals in the Penn Yan area, we stumbled upon The Burnt Rose (at the suggestion of the hostess at the sister restaurant, 18th Amendment, which was full). We had several appetizers plus our meals and everything was fabulous! Service, atmosphere and especially the food! Highly recommend!
Get ready for a symphony of flavor when you come here. Chef Rose is cooking up some fantastic food. The Niçoise salad left this guy happy and full. The Steak Diane simply amazing. They also have a fantastic FLX wine selection and very courteous staff. Highly recommend.
Top three meals of all time.
Great atmosphere even better eats !!

First time visit on Thanksgiving was delightful. Enjoyed both prix fixe holiday menu and a la carte choices, all fresh, local and remarkably innovative. Nearly impossible to make a bad choice from the curated wine list, also featuring regional NY selections. If you're looking to break out of the traditional restaurant grind, this local fusion spot is well worth a visit.
I was always wanting to stop and visit this place. They have a very extensive selection of local Finger Lake lines as you would expect. The menu looked very interesting but I was just having wine, not food. The kitchen did seem quite busy and very many people were eating. Great decor. Very friendly staff.

Food and atmosphere were wonderful. Knocked one star off because it took almost an hour to get our food. They must have been down a server because we only saw one person taking orders. When our meal finally arrived it was delicious. Wish they would have offered a small appetizer or bread for the wait.

Horrible brunch experience. Took over an hour and a half to get our food. I could’ve cooked some better tasting eggs in my small kitchen in less than half the time it took them to cook our food.
