Sunday evening relaxing dinner on a cold, dreary night after visiting the holiday market at the Dr. Konstantin Frank winery. The cheddar biscuits were a wonderful start. My wife's chicken entree and my burger were delicious. Personable and professional service by Savannah. Look forward to dining here again when we're in Penn Yan.

Ordered the duck special. Very good but extremely small portion for the price. My friend had the scallops. 3 very small scallops were served. Again....this was ridiculous considering the cost. I won't be coming back.

Absolutely love Main Deck. The view is gorgeous with their floor to ceiling windows. The food was fantastic and service was great.

We attended the Butcher and Brew event with Timberline meats and Lyon Smith Brewing. The chef prepared some amazing food one of my favs was the meat and vegetable tart one of the best pastry crusts I have ever tasted. The beer pairing worked perfect with the food!

We have been to two of dinners one by Weis and last night by Butcher and Brewer, both were outstanding the work the main deck staff have done for both was really incredible. The food was outstanding and was all local ingredients and last night the meat and chicken came from Timberline meats. The Weis wine for their event was very good and paired everything so well. Last night the brewery was Lyon Smith and was an English style beer and was so good also. I hope the Main deck continues these style showings it really shows off how good there personal is and how great the finger lakes wineries and brewers are.

We had a positive dining experience with great service and food quality. I had the scallops which were very good. My wife had the short rib which was also very tasty. We split a fall salad. The restaurant is right next to the Hampton Inn on Lake Kueka with excellent views of the lake.

We dined at Main Deck two consecutive weekends. The food was delicious, the service was great, and the cocktails were fabulous. We dined in the large dining room the first time. Only complaint was that it was very bright. Appearantly, there was an issue w the scheduled dimmer, which we found out on our next visit. We asked to be seated in the bar area the second visit. They have a gorgeous handcrafted wooden boat for a bar. The lights dimmed that evening. :) Highly recommend the salmon, steak and squash risotto.

Place is beautiful right on the lake with great views! Staff was friendly- unfortunately I ordered the scallops and they were underdone and lacked flavor. Our server did not check back until we were past trying to correct the problem. He only checked in a total of three times- once to greet, once to drop food, and once to bring the bill. I would have appreciated more service and a redo on my entree. Would give this place another try but not order seafood again.

This place on the lake is picturesque. It has a limited menu. I really enjoyed the salad which was lightly dressed and fresh. The burger and fries were well cooked and flavorful. When we walked in the live music downstairs seemed way too loud. But, the sound dissipated once we entered the dining room. The drink selection was good. Would recommend - especially to watch the sunset from the outdoor seating area.

The food was very good. But...my reservation for outdoor seating was not honored. Our inside table was by the busiest service door. The noise level is off the charts. Lighting is glaringly bright. Our server tried so hard to please, but he seemed undertrained. Prices are probably typical of a higher end restaurant but given those prices and smaller portions, the value is just not there.

We had reservations for a party of six and, unfortunately, left very disappointed—despite the restaurant's beautiful setting and great views. By 7 p.m. on a Saturday, they had already run out of the steak entrée, which was surprising for a prime weekend evening. The chicken dish was flavorless and tough, the short rib entrée was a very small portion, and the burger felt underwhelming for the price. While the manager was attentive and genuinely apologetic, making some adjustments to our bill, the overall experience didn't meet expectations. This was our second visit—the first was also underwhelming, but we returned hoping things had improved. Unfortunately, they hadn't. Between being short-staffed, low on key menu items, and high prices, the meal was a disappointment—despite the lovely ambiance.

Our anniversary dinner never materialized. Indoor dining was cancelled that evening and we were never notified of the change. We were forced to seek dinner at a local bar with a bar menu, as it was the 4th of July. Disappointed in the management/staff there for failing to inform us of the change.

Got caught in a thunderstorm on the deck, but the staff was very accommodating in moving everyone inside ... great food and service!

It took one hour for our food to arrive after ordered. It took twenty minutes for the check to arrive after we asked for it. Food was good. Ambiance and view very nice. Very understaffed fir a busy Saturday afternoon. I'd think twice before going back.

It was nice eating on the top deck overlooking the lake. The only thing that could have made it better was to watch the sun set. It was hidden behind the clouds. Food was great. They even brought out little samples compliments of the chef.
