What an amazing winery with a view! The wines were excellent and we felt so welcome. They gave some food (hummus & chips, others) with the tasting. Super friendly. Just wish the weather was warmer and we could sit on the patio overlooking the lake. Best stop of our trip so far!

This was our favorite stop on our 2024 wine tour of Seneca Lake. The wines are somewhat unusual -- not the typical sweet white wines of NY. We found several of them to be exceptionally good. The owners are on-site, and are lovely people to chat with. The tastings are not rushed, with plenty of time to linger over conversation and enjoy the free snacks provided. We left with a case of wine, which we have been enjoying so much at home.

The wines and hospitality were amazing!! Olivia was soo friendly and the whole experience was so great! They gave us gluten free pretzels as well, which was such a nice surprise! Such an overall amazing experience. Will definitely be going back on our annual trip!

My wife and I first came to Scout Vineyards with some friends in October 2022. We were very impressed not just with the wines, but with the passion and dedication in the wines, but also their knowledge and their friendliness to those who visit.
My wife was never a lover of Chardonnay until she tried the Stainless Steel Chardonnay. It was fantastic. In truth, there was not a wine there that we did not like, including the final one we tried- the LaGrange.
Since then, my wife and I became members of the wine club. We live in NE Philly, so it made sense to have it shipped since we maybe get to the Finger Lakes once a year. We always try to stop by when we are in the area to visit and buy a couple bottles and say hello. When we stopped by in June, I was pleasantly surprised that they remembered our group from that Oct '22 visit.
Often when visiting a winery for a tasting, you don't often get to meet and chat with ownership, but Dan and Olivia are usually there and Maddie always greets us with a smile. We truly enjoy getting a chance to talk with them. They have some new reds on the way, and my wife and I are eagerly anticipating the chance to try them when they are released.
BTW- their Pinot Blanc is fantastic. We always bring a bottle with us on our shore vacations to enjoy with dinner or a charcuterie.

With so many places to choose from in the Finger Lakes, we picked this one based on previous reviews. I am so glad we did not miss them! This is a small winery, so reservations are recommended, but we were able to stop in without one. The owner was the person who poured our wine tasting. She was very friendly, and the wines were delicious. The wines were not as sweet as some of the other wineries, but they all were very flavorful. We very much enjoyed this stop, and it was one of our favorite stops. When we come back for another visit to the Finger Lakes, we will visit again.
Outstanding! Wines were great and staff was fabulous. The best tasting experience we've had by far. The owner was so full of great info on his wines and the area in general. We really appreciate the time he spent with us.

Fantastic wines! This small winery is hands down in the top 5 in the whole FLX area, and we visited most of them over the years! Definitely taste the wines - the host who I believe was the owner was extremely friendly and informative, we will be back.

Just an impeccable experience at Scout to kick off our Finger Lakes vacation. Dan and Maddie (sp?) were amazing hosts, and we did not try a wine we didn't like. Their red hybrids of Foch and Marquette aren't to be missed. Also loved that the tasting came with some hummus and pita chips -- always appreciated when wine tasting!!!
