Drove four hours from NJ to Peru to pick up a piece of equipment. I never heard of Peru NY. We left NJ at 5:30 AM and did not want to eat at McDonalds. We powered through and went to Rove. I'll say that their 4.7 rating is inaccurate. I'd rate it a 5 plus. Incredible food, super friendly young staff working really hard. If I lived closer I'd go there more often. Our server, Think his name is Ethan was about as good as they can get. Don't go to Peru without eating at this little gem.

If you’ve never been to Rove Café, you’re missing out. Everything is absolutely delicious. My favorite is the eggs Benedict. They offer several options, including a new maple hollandaise sauce which is out of this world! Pancakes and waffles are the best around as well. The new fall menu is out and they didn’t disappoint. Oh and the espresso bar menu is amazing. They have some really great hot and cold options that you won’t find anywhere else. Finally the staff. They are all fantastic. On a busy Sunday, they all run like a well oiled machine. Service is excellent and fast. If the parking lot is full, don’t worry, you’ll get a seat before you know it.

My new breakfast spot in Peru. Quaint decor reminds me of farmhouse kitch with old lady lace. Printed paintings and some old country tools. Old furniture and used booths, family run, family and friends frequented. The staff are very warm and friendly and they don’t rush you. Very casual so come as you are. The menu is short but the choices are tough. I chose the smokehouse Benedict. I’m not usually a fan of the sweet but this was a good choice. The potatoes were simple and delicious and not deep fried. So good. We will be returning to try the other offerings

My second time having breakfast here. Today I came with my 2 year old. The food was incredible as always. Everything looks just as good as it tastes. The banana cream latte was refreshing yet full of flavor. However, the service/friendliness of the owner and staff really is what makes this place 5 stars. There was a misunderstanding on my part but the patience and kindness the owner showed me was top tier and absolutely will not be forgotten. Thank you so much. We can’t wait to go back.
Me and my boyfriend live in CT and came to visit for a few days. we found this place and it is absolutely golden. everyone was so nice, the service was absolutely amazing and so was the food. would definitely recommend going there. 🥰

We loved this spot. We were camping and stopped in for breakfast two days in a row. Pro: Reasonable prices. Eggs Benny are too die for. Best i have had. Those country potatoes 🥔 ate the bomb! Staff are the nicest folk and super attentive. Atmosphere is cosy. Food delivery is quick Food is excellent. Lots of parking.
Only con is Coffee could use an upgrade.
