Drove four hours from NJ to Peru to pick up a piece of equipment. I never heard of Peru NY. We left NJ at 5:30 AM and did not want to eat at McDonalds. We powered through and went to Rove. If you’ve never been to Rove Café, you’re missing out. Everything is absolutely delicious. My favorite is the eggs Benedict. They offer several options, including a new maple hollandaise sauce which is out of this world! Pancakes and waffles are the best around as well. The new fall menu is out and they didn’t disappoint. My new breakfast spot in Peru. Quaint decor reminds me of farmhouse kitch with old lady lace. Printed paintings and some old country tools. Old furniture and used booths, family run, family and friends frequented. The staff are very warm and friendly and they don’t rush you. Very casual so come as you are.
