I then asked if i purchase something (as I am holding a menu) would i be able to use it, to which they all rudely said no and the lady took the menu out my hands. I've driven past this unassuming place hundreds of times and I've been dying to try it and I FINALLY DID! I was pleasantly surprised at how fantastic everything was, including the service--and they even gave us a sushi roll on the house. Thank you! I wanted to try something different so we ordered a Hudson roll that comes without rice and it was too good. One of the best. Also ordered a roll that had bulgogi beef on-top, wow so savory and delicious. I think it was called the Hinode something...I know that's not very helpful--and it seemed like they were trying it out on the menu because they asked how we liked it. We loved it. The place is cute and small, service is speedy and you can see the chefs preparing the rolls. I think this sushi spot sets itself apart from the rest and has its own unique twist that I appreciate. I am coming back here for sure.

The old lady was acting very typical but she's Korean ...even it was just 3 o'clock she opened the door and took my order...Ill be back but I learnt the trick...I lived in Japan for quite a while...she didn't say a word as I found out they are all Korean when I spoke to her...she was very kind but fake...very well maintained shop...the problem you must be honest...don't take the business and not knowing Japanese because I do so I'm quite disappointed...they tried to charge me double for sake...that's it ...I'm done...they won't see me again....!!!Parking: Only a few cars can fit in...right in front of the shop...!!!

The good and service are both excellent! They always go above and beyond to do something a little bit special for everyone who visits. For example, my toddler loves their avocado rolls so they cut it extra small to make it easier for her to eat. Today the chef even made an adorable little rice and avocado puppy face on her plate just to delight us! Give them a try, you won’t be disappointed.Kid-friendliness: There’s not much space inside so don’t expect to let your kids run around. But the family who runs it are very lovely and accommodating to my child every time we bring her! There are high chairs available, and lots of friendly waves and smiles from the owners.

Small place, very quiet. Ordered takeout and the food was really good even after transporting it like 15-20 minutes, especially the tempura. They even gave us an extra roll! Great place for sushi and sashimi

We were passing through and needed to find someplace to eat. I found Hinode, and after seeing its stellar rating on Yelp, we decided to stop in. This small, unassuming restaurant didn't disappoint. The fish was fresh and the yakisoba was hot, sweet and savory. The service was excellent as well. Don't hesitate to stop in if you're passing by!
