People say you never hear from your customers until they complain. For this review I will share that we've always enjoyed coming to Reilly's. That is, until last night. The place is generally charming and offers comfort food options and usually hits high marks for those, bartenders are nice and the owner bandies about with his signature fedora. Last year during the holidays it really felt warm and inviting. Their signature cocktails were delicious and the Guiness was nice and cold. Over the last year we made many visits, we even went here for Father's Day! So when our kids came home from college, we decided that it would be a great spot to go to, especially since we hadn't had a meal together as a family in many months, going back to Father's Day. Understanding that the night before Thanksgiving is generally a peculiar night for restaurants, I was ok with being called several times by the hostesses in the days leading up to the reservation. Their message was consistent about the "kitchen is closing at 9pm." While our reservation was for 8pm, we arrived early and were seated just before 8pm. After about 10 minutes of appearing bewildered with undirected energy, the waitress approached and bought some time by dropping off a 6-pack of waters. Another 10 minutes to approach and receive a drink order, at that point we understood the staff would not at all interested in our table as soon as the clock struck 9. In fact, every moment up until 9, we were reminded by our waitress that we were on the clock. As she took our drink order and immediately asked us for our dinner order, it became clear that a message of "We'd prefer not to fell rushed" would need to be delivered. She was kind in her response, suggesting that she would take our dinner order when she got back with the drinks. Not problem at all with that, all was well. Order of Irish Nachos arrived a few minutes later, all was well. As our food arrived, we were immediately approached by the waitress with the dessert menu. Lord, talk about the "Bum's rush"! She made another suggestion about the kitchen closing at 9 and after that being the theme of the evening, everyone at our table became vary aware that no one was gonna give us a thought after 9. It wasn't just the kitchen. The staff was a mixture of some people moving fast to take care of their customers and an equal amount of staff begging for time to pass so they could get the hell out of there. What once felt like a warm and welcoming place turned into a place where you could notice that the people that work there don't really give a damn if you're there to enjoy yourselves. A table behind became slowly covered in items off the menu. As our dinner arrived, and the dessert menu was shoved down our throat, we were advised that it was more than likely that the dessert, if it was ordered, would probably come out as we were still eating our dinners, because, you guessed it, the KITCHEN WAS CLOSING!! And, as we took our first bites of dinner, the dessert arrived. As the ice cream slide off the hot brownie, we asked them to take it back to the kitchen, which they obliged. Waitress returned to let us know that she was "dropping the check" because her shift was ending. She could sense that we weren't pleased after sharing with her that we didn't want to feel rushed. She responded over to the owner and shared our frustration, frankly it was not his fault. She came over and offered us a round of drinks. I refused, partly because I had already had two Old Fashioned's, partly because I felt that a better show of concern would have been for him to come over and just talk share his regret for us having a less than enjoyable time. But, as expected, he and the staff sat at the table behind us and started scarfing down food. The waitress stood a few feet over at the POS stand and was doing the same. We had done our part, respected the fact that the kitchen was closing. We followed their rules and did

We came with our pups Emmie and Enkitu for dinner. It was warm enough that we could eat outside in November. Great dinner selections on the menu. I had a mock-tail that was delicious. My husband enjoyed his glass of red wine. The staff was super friendly and helpful especially our waitress Jolene [who can be seen in the picture holding Emmie]. We will be back.

Fun little Irish tavern-esque spot adjacent to the river water bordering Piermont. We love the food and, despite them losing power for an hour, we are still very likely to return! This place has excellent staff, very warm and friendly people all around at this restaurant.

The place is nice, but I didn't like it so much, there's not so much variety of food and it's not very expensive.

Nice pub, cold beer.
Recommend the Fish tacos, the assorted dips especially the tzatziki meh… little bland. But otherwise a nice place.
