Rivertown closed in 2023. Pandemic hit them hard, they downsized their menu substantially, almost to sandwich shop level, and never really restored to the original. People stopped visiting and they finally shut down. Now it's Roka, a much better menu and very friendly helpful staff. I hope they thrive!

Rivertown Taphouse has closed. There’s a new restaurant in the same space, called Roka
Love the location & it's better than anywhere in the plaza. Checks off everything on the list. Food, service, atmosphere, FRIENDS! Highly recommend for a night out.

Great food and ambiance. Service can be a little slow due to being sat all at once. Friendly staff!

We stopped Sunday for burgers and it was not crowded at all. We ordered and a half hour later sever came back and said they were out of rolls but we could have bread. We said ok. Then another half hour later server came back and said out of fries with no alternative offered. We just ordered wings and calamari instead. Wings were good and they comped our drinks but wouldn’t go back. Kind of sad really

We got into the restaurant fairly quickly on Saturday for lunch hour, but then things went downward. We all sat down and got our menus. We told the waiter our order of salads and kids meals and sat there for a while. Some other people came in, and they got their food and drinks before us. The waiter kept popping in and out and avoiding eye contact with us. There were no appetizers and they never checked in on us. We waited for and hour and 45 minutes until we decided to get up and leave the server said “ I don’t blame you!” No bread, no drinks on the house, nothing. I would not go there again and I definitely do not recommend.

Terrible service. I was waited for 35 minutes for a burger and a salad after asking for my food. I got it cold in altogether I asked for a salad with no cheese, and unfortunately as well got it with cheese, just forgot about my order altogether, they just forgot about my order altogether. It is my second time in that place and I will not come back again. Darren the service is just terrible.Don’t even think to eat in that place because you’re gonna get disappointed,As well after I said that I’m leaving no manager, or somebody responsible was thinking to come and talk to me they Just told me have a good night

Good food, but overpriced. Every burger add-on or substitute is pricey. Friendly but inattentive staff. Burger was overcooked, but waiter was not present when food was served. I told the person who delivered the food that I wanted to check burger for doneness, but she did not wait. When I was half-way through eating, the waiter showed up to ask if everything was good, and didn't seem prepared for any answer but "yes". I said the burger was overdone. He asked what he could do, and I answered, "It's too late," which it was. He should have been there when the food was served. Neither he nor the food runner seemed to care.

We come here frequently and for several years now. The staff is always friendly. We love the food and the relaxed atmosphere. Seating is ideal outside in the summer months and heaters are available in the fall. It’s cozy inside in the winter time by the fireplace. Well behaved dogs are welcome outside making this restaurant ideal for a walk around Piermont with its shops and amazing views of the Hudson River and the Tappan Zee bridge (colorfully lit at night). We highly recommend!

Loved the food and the view!! Lobster ravioli was delicious!!
This place is popular for outdoor sitting except winter. It is located near Hudson River with nice view of Tapan Zee Bridge stretched other side of NY and mountains on the north. It is not regular fine indoor restaurant. Food is good. I had a blackened cod fish sandwich with a glass of Chardonnay today because I like fish. It was delicious, the best one I had recently. You can bring your dog here.
Food was okay, but not seasoned.
Very nice
