We had met the owner at his other restaurant and figured we'd come and try this spot, that was described as being more casual than Lanni's Cucina Verace. The appetizers of meatballs and eggplant were delicious. The sauce on both was so good we could have licked the plate. For our main courses we got, Fettucine Alfedo, spaghetti and meatballs, the lamb chop special and I had the pork chop. Unfortunately my pork came to the table very much overcooked. The waiter and...
As noted, the food and service are worth a return visit...but not yet. The restaurant isn't firing on all cylinders. Our table for three was in an alcove that was uncomfortably warm. The noise level was so loud that conversation was challenging. A warm glass of white wine was served - although it was a good pour. There were numerous fruit flies floating around. Would have liked to stay for dessert, but couldn't wait to leave.
