As a vegetarian I've loved this place for years. Pricey, but that's life nowadays and the food definitely is great quality and worth it. I've moved over the years and currently live about 45 minutes away and still take the trip out there just for the food as often as we can, and can afford.
One other review mentioned something about a mischarge and they were trying to blame this establishment of maliciously robbing him, well, I've ordered here numerous times over 10+ years and not once have I had an incorrect charge, so..... It's called a receipt bro, I always get one, so if you had an issue all you would have had to do is go back in with the receipt and the charge on your card and I'm sure they would have made it right(if they were even wrong to begin with and it wasn't simply you misunderstanding the charges), instead of leaving reviews with wild assumptions and accusations.

The food is generally good, sometimes not so good…has to be different cooks with no consistency checks? The restaurant is clean, but, again, sometimes very stuffy, with minimal AC. Is not conducive to pleasant dining. I wish there weren’t so many deep fried dishes, but, one can order healthier alternatives. For our location, this establishment is a good choice.

Yeah so basically my bill was $21 and when I checked my bank account the charge was $25… I left a cash tip as well but what I forgot to do was cross out the tip part on the paper receipt and final amount… so I 100% believe that however they finalized it in their system they took extra and just enough to were you think someone wouldn’t notice cuz this was not a tax or processing fee and on another note food is decent but not great and service was okay but you don’t feel comfortable

The vegan options around here suck for the most part, so I’m thankful to have a spot like pure city near me. It reminds me of the vegan Asian spots that you can find in Manhattan or Brooklyn. The fried mushrooms are to die for, especially when you have them fresh.

I was excited to try this place however my experience was lackluster. I ordered a sizzling soy platter supposed to be snow peas carrots potatoes mushrooms broccoli sounded delicious instead it was a plate of soggy onions and zucchini - no mushrooms, one tiny potatoe, about 3 snowpeas. The food simply did not match the description. However it was tasty $22 Maybe I caught them on a bad night. I’d try again and be sure everything is in stock.

Don't judge the restaurant by the outside. The food was delicious, and the service was pleasant and attentive. Hard to find a sit-down Chinese restaurant that isn't buffet style, let alone where the menu is vegan. Will definitely go back.
