A cute little spot. We stopped after finding the diner down the street had an hour and a half wait. Was a bit expensive but overall worthwhile experience. Their breakfast sandwiches and pastries were good, as well as the latte.

Stopped in for a coffee and was pleasantly surprised to find handmade soaps and other skin products for sale as well. The coffee was good; the macaron was beautiful be tasted like it had been refrigerated for a few days. Don’t get me wrong, I ate it for sure! But not the freshest.

This is not only a charming little café along Route 28 with a stunning view of the mountains, good food and a great atmosphere, but it also provides opportunities for individuals with mental disabilities. It’s truly an exceptional place!!!!

The food was amazing! Very fresh!

The beef vegetable soup was a blast.

The egg sandwich on a croissant with sausage was also very tasty.

The latte and flat white were very good too.

A good place to work while waiting for the rail explorers.

I have never been here. I live two hours away in the city. I have two autistic children and appreciate any business that is willing to hire disabled individuals. To those leaving negative reviews about the wait time. Do some research. Your food might take long, but it might have taken longer to train these wonderful employees. And I am sure the food was made with the utmost care. I will surely visit one day!

Please plan to expand closer to the city. There are so many families that I am sure will give you business!

The owner was beyond rude to my family when they nicely asked when their food would be out because it was taking so long. Immediately told them “we’re hiring if you wanna go back and cook” meanwhile their order was forgotten and people who were sat after them received their food. When they asked for a refund bc they had somewhere to be and needed to leave she proceeded to tell them “no you’ll eat the food”. When said food came out, my sister’s waffles were freezing cold. When my father’s gf tried to calm the situation down the owner caused a scene in front of everyone in the restaurant. We even watched her be extremely rude to her own workers. And you wonder why you’re always hiring….I’ve worked in the service industry for years and this behavior is unacceptable. If I were you I would avoid this place at all costs.

This was a cute little cafe a short distance from the Rail Explorers and The Worlds Largest Kaleidoscope. Recently opened only the beginning of this year in January. This place was opened in honor of Maeve who has Down Syndrome in an effort to provide equal work opportunities for individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities.
The good was delicious, I had the chicken Capreese Sandwich which was moist and flavorful and the side salad was fresh and had a nice light dressing on it. There is seating inside as well as outside. It has a relaxing and welcoming vibe. Definitely recommend a drop in and worth a visit.

Dietary restrictions: Allergen conscious

Parking: Plenty of parking. Located in a plaza with other businesses.

I was lucky to discover this gem while vacationing in area, and can't get enough of Maeve's. I've been back several times. I love this place! The staff is INCREDIBLE. My faves are the sandwich wraps, and their French fries are the BEST ? ever. Now, their desserts and homemade danishes are so good that I always buy extra to enjoy later. I'm also huge fan of their iced black tea. They sell great treats that will last, which I've taken advantage of for souvenirs! The seating area inside is super comfy, and decor is inviting. Plenty of outdoor seating, too. The staff is fantastic. Highly recommend!

Loved this little shop. Dedicated to a young girl who loved her coffee. Great food, staff was friendly, lots of unique gifts/food items to buy. The coffee was wonderful - had three cups! Breakfast was lovely and we got dessert to go. Will visit again when in the area, well worth the trip.

We usually stop at Maeves in the morning for some of their delicious pastries on our way to Kingston. Today we went for lunch with visiting family members. It was delicious. The fries are the best I've ever had. Everyone totally enjoyed their selections from a BLT to a short rib sandwich, crispy chicken and cauliflower wrap. Can't wait to go back and try other options. I highly recommend Maeves.
