The only drawback for me is that the menu lacks dinner plate variety. Awesome small plates!

Very cute and friendly place, the food was really good and not expensive at all. The service was also very friendly and we did not have to wait long for anything. I would recommend west and main to my friends, my old complaint would be is it was cold inside when we were there so wear layers, if it was a one time thing you can shed your layers if not you'll be happy you're warm.

Not only is the atmosphere indescribable but the service is always on point. The girls who own this place know how to bring the fun. Every night here is a new excitement. My boyfriend and I live in Eastdale down the road and this bar is our go to. Don’t even get me started on the west and main burger it is literally the best burger I have ever had in my life. If you are looking for a good time, amazing drinks, new experiences every night surrounded by good people and even better food this is the place for you. The staff will always remember your name and make you feel like the most special person in the room. You must go here!!!!

First time visiting during their karaoke night. It was sweet they were raising money for a local family affected by something. The issue though was during karaoke, the owner (who is white) decided to "sing" a rap song and the one word I heard over the others was the n-word.When this controversial problem was brought to her attention, instead of being cordial and either apologizing or saying she didn't realize (even if she was lying to our faces), the owner doubled down saying, "It's 2023, I should be able to say it." We had already requested our tabs and paid them so we could respectfully leave. The owner then says, "You are no longer welcomed back here." I happily said thank you for I will never return to this bar.The owner does not understand that as a business owner, there is a level of decorum one must uphold when running a public business. The hostile response when being called out for something that is not okay was unprofessional and just showed her true nature. After we had already left her bar and were in the shared plaza parking lot, she continued and attempted to antagonize us by opening the front door and yelling to us, "They're now singing Biggie Smalls." Her attempt to stir up trouble from us, you had already paid and left, was a continuation of her showing that she does not care for customers, only her kind of people.Do not go here if you are a POC for it is clearly a white bar full of people that are okay with saying the n-word.

The bar on west and main is the best bar we have ever visited in the HV. The staff is attentive, kind, and welcoming. The food is great and the atmosphere is laid back and fun. Also a plus- local and woman owned. Great job and we can’t wait to go back!

WARNING FOR BLACK, POC, AND LGBT PEOPLE I came to the bar on west and main after work with my employees to celebrate our great week and sing karaoke, supporting a cause dear to my heart. I spent $140, and the four people I was with also paid for two drinks each. We had a great time doing karaoke. Then the owner sang "Look at me now", by Chris Brown and was not shy to say every single word, including the "n" word and "f****. I was with a group of five people with multiple LGBT and POC. As we sat there in disbelief and confusion amongst ourselves, the bartender named Lindsay (who also works as a personal trainer at Orange Theory and soccer coach so be careful) then told us "it's just a song it's okay." In that moment, I told her it was not, and asked to close out our tabs. We probably all would have stayed for 2 more hours, sang more songs, and ordered more drinks if this did not occur. When the owner came back behind the bar from singing her song, she had asked what was wrong so I responded with "I really like the way you say the n word with your chest." She then thanked me and proceeded to start screaming at me and the black person I was with, who is also autistic, that she can say whatever she wants because she wants too and it's "2023." When my friend tried to explain to her as a black person, why this is offensive and wrong, she threw a temper tantrum and screamed that we were "banned from ever coming back to the Bar on West and Main." What's crazy is she thought we would ever come back to an establishment where white people are loud and proud, saying the n word with their chest. The owner is known to be drunk on the job, so I guess she had a few too many high noons. I did not tip on my last bill, since I tipped $15 on a $55 check the first round of drinks, because at that point, I did not want to give any more of my money to a racist. We walked out of the establishment shocked, and a member from my party was smoking a cigarette before we got in our cars, we were obviously discussing what had just happened. The owner then runs out of the bar, props the door open, and screams at us to let us know that they are still saying the n word inside, singing Biggie. She then closed the door right after the song was done as they finished screaming the n word..? She really wanted to solidify with her whole body to us, that she is in fact racist and black people are not welcome in her bar. Weird flex, but okay. I do NOT recommend this establishment to anyone. Also..I guess everyone in this establishment is piss ass drunk because when we got there, someone who came from the bar backed into another car, hit it, and drove off. Luckily, someone from my group was able to get the license plate and then found the owner from a different business in the plaza to let them know. We are very respectful and come from military families. We believe in doing the right thing and not letting customers drive off that level of drunk. The next day, I shared my experience with my Instagram story, and the owner privately messaged me threatening me and tried to send a cease and desist through Instagram DM's which was hilarious. She's also been seen on Google Reviews to freak out when someone leaves a one star review because of poor service and comment weird things like "I watched back the tapes and watched your dining experience and it seems like you had a great time, your friend Nick tipped well over 20%." What a creep!
