For real, low key best family summer spot on the island. Entirely kid friendly tidal beach with more wildlife that you’ll know what to do with. Being a net and bucket if you have toddlers. Food is epic and beach side, bar is a MOVIE in a bait and tackle shop.
Endless summer and the most iconic family core memories.

We needed to park blocks away. However, our bad experience did not stop there! We asked for a table, and were told to leave a credit card as security for the beeper. My friend explained that we needed an indoor table. ( She had a recent skin cancer diagnosis and treatment. ) After waiting for about an hour, we were called to our table, which was in full sun! We asked if there was another available table, and we were told to wait another 40 minutes. I think if you want empathy or respect, don't eat at the Buoy Bar.

A nice casual seafood restaurant with waterside dining. Great place to catch a sunset while dining for dinner or sipping a cocktail. You wait on a line to make your order and pay, then you get your table, stool or chair, and your food is brought to you. Super casual in all ways. A little on the high side as it relates to price. They could make it a bit clearer as far as the ordering, service and seating goes, but you won’t get lost. It’s much larger than it looks from outside.
This is literally the worst place ever the food is tasteless no salt no seasoning whatsoever the waiting time to be seating is crazy Your food comes out very cold and it is so expensive and when we got our food and we finish eating, the bill came and I taught that the tip is included in the bill so I just signed the bill and we leave the waiter ran out to us on the road and asked about a tip so embarrassing. It’s not worth your money. It’s not worth your time. It’s literally embarrassing never ever going back here.

The appeal of visiting this restaurant is to sit by the sea, so i was satisfied with that aspect of the experience. The restaurant itself wasnt going to have available seating for an hour and a half, so we sat in the outdoor seating and ordered at their outdoor shack, which I didn’t have a problem with. My tacos were $20 and I was served 2 tacos. The amount of tacos was not specified on the menu so I wasn’t expecting to pay $10 a taco and was still hungry after eating what I thought would be enough for lunch. The food was pretty good but overall, portion sizes compared to the price was very strange. A friend who I was with ordered sliders which were cheaper than my tacos and their portions were fuller than mine. We were all still happy to be there and spend time with each other but quality of the dining experience was less than satisfactory.
